There is plenty of parking around the place, but the place itself is always pretty full of people on wait times so the parking lot is usually full.
Every time we arrived here and we tried about 3 times until we finally got a table, but every single time we came in and the lot and the restaurant doors were packed with people with wait times of an hour plus, also keep in mind that they do not take reservations, we were lucky to finally get a table there once the pandemic started lol. They do not take reservations so the wait times are fair, all they do is they put our name at the list once u walk in and you just wait. One of their waiting benches has broken wood and it bit my leg, really hurt so if you wear legs out careful where you sit while waiting for a table.
They have some outside sitting but it is only a couple of tables so it looks like choosing where to sit is a luxury here.
The decor is cute and very home like, they have baked goods and a very nice and short menu, making so much easier to choose what to eat, they also have specials every weekend so do not trust all the items you see on the yelp photos cause there may be a chance that some of them may be a social on the weekend that particular reviewer tried.
Lets talk about the meal:
POMEGRANATE MIMOSA - This is one of the best things ever, I loved the fact that it was not super sweet5 but it was sweet enough to be enjoyable, came with mint and orange garnish and also we had some pomegranate floating in there. we had a couple of them and we left the place feeling very good! the size of the drinks were pretty nice and generous and the price was pretty nice for the size of the drink.
CINNAMON BUN- real yummy and the cheese glazing was tasty, but they could have elevated the taste and served warm. If it was warm I'm sure it would be a crazy awesome hit, cause the taste was definitely there but the temperature could make it even better.
WILDFLOWER SIGNATURE CREPES- these are TERRIBLE, they are not crepes by a long shot, this is a very thing omelet that they call a crepe, I am not sure if they even know what a crepe is at this point, the side was good, the CHEESE GRITS were pretty well made and had the right amount of cheese, this was a perfect side.
EGGS ARNOLD - this is definitely worth it, the croissant is flaky and buttery, the side we got was HOME POTATOES, they were ok, but I liked the GRITS better. this was a superior dish by far.
overall the atmosphere is great, the service is friendly and the drinks are savage! obviously the bun temp and the crepe are some of the things that can improve but I would say that choosing the right dish here will b a game changer for your experience.
I will definitely come back and at this point regardless of the crepe I would...
Read moreEDIT - Haven't been here for about year. Stopped in for lunch at 1:10 today with a business partner. No staff in sight to greet us or tell us where to sit. A girl came from the service area to then go to the closed portion of the restaurant to yell for someone to come up as customers were stacking. (Why close half the restaurant if there are people waiting to be seated!?) There was a 3 top waiting outside. and (2) 2 tops waiting to be sat not including us. The lady that came from the back was rude with telling us we were required to wait outside and not by the cake/cookie display which we were examining. OK. Outside we went. One couple with an elderly mother left because of the way we were ushered outside, rudely. We stood politely outside at a distance of about 8 ft from the door. One couple stood across from us. The rude lady then came out and scolded us for standing there and told us we needed to sit. We were in no way blocking the walkway. There was one (1!) chair available to sit in. We told her we would continue to stand as there were no chairs available. She acted very offended and harrumphed at us. (No other way to describe it!). She left for a minute or so and then returned to offer seating to a couple that came after we did. She made it obvious that it was out of spite for us telling her we would not/could not sit. We left. It is a shame, but we won't be returning for awhile if ever. I don't need cake bad enough to put up with that level of arrogance and rudeness. Judging from the other, newer reviews, our experience is not unique. That hostess certainly isn't doing ya'll any favors! - OLD REVEW. I don't care for coconut cake. My breakfast partner insisted we have some for an appetizer. It was one of the better cakes I have ever had. I did not know that coconut cake could be that good. Then the omelette came. It was very well presented and well assembled. I had forgotten that there were places that actually delivered a better than expected experience for a reasonable amount of money. 10/10 would recommend. - Sadly, I do not recommend...
Read moreWe were a small party of disabled and elderly people. We called ahead to make sure there would be seating right by where we'd need to wait in line for a table. They said there was. The seating was around the entire building by the shop. There was ONE chair set out near the restaurant line, which we had our elderly party member use, leaving me with my cane to sit on the hot concrete ground and our third party member who is invisibly disabled to stand. Once we were seated at our outside table, I requested an alternate chair which they happily accommodated - the only reason I'm not rating lower (I'm known for ruthless Google reviews for inaccessibility).
The sandwiches were mediocre at best and the only vegetarian sandwich on the menu which I ordered that DID NOT SAY IT WAS OPEN-FACED was basically just the breakfast avocado toast with sprouts on top... With my motor impairments, I literally could not eat it and sat there waiting to get a staff member's attention while my party ate their underwhelming sandwiches. I finally got someone's attention and asked politely for another piece of bread because I could not eat what they served me through the fault of their own menu. They charged us two whole dollars for the extra piece of bread.
I think they might be overwhelmed and stretched thin from increasing business from good Google reviews (how we found them) but they need to improve ASAP on being welcoming to disabled customers. To this point, they have a prominently displayed sign saying wheelchair accessible bathrooms are somewhere else when they have a perfectly fine ADA bathroom inside the restaurant (I know because I'm also a wheelchair user, just wasn't using my chair that day). It might be a little tight for some wheelchairs but it should be communicated as an option. We will not be returning next time we're in Florida but I sincerely hope...
