Great French vibe with terrific croissants but lacks timely service. There was one gentleman in front of us picking up a to go order. We arrived to see a beautiful display case largely empty. There were no signs that they were cleaned out between their opening time of 6:30am and when we arrived at 8:00am on a Friday. It took about 10 minutes to place our order and 25 minutes to receive our turkey and cheese croissant, a pair of strawberry and crème croissants (a pistachio croissant wasn’t available,) a Coke (requested twice) and a (luke warm) hot chocolate. The young man attempting to be a Barista could have definitely stood some support from one of the two in the back or a seemingly absentee owner / manager. As others have stated it is slightly spendy given the strawberry crème croissant is $8.40. However, it is not radically different than their competitor at Indian Rocks that we ironically were at the day before. In the hour we were there we watched two different patrons leave as they could not be waited on timely. As we were leaving at 9am a young lady clad with a scarf arrived. She carried herself like a manager or perhaps an owner. (If she is a manager and / or owner, why wasn’t she there at 6:30 supporting the staff and the needs of the consumer?) Hopefully, they overcome these growing pains and meet the demands of clients in a more timely fashion. It is a costly venture to get consumers through the door and it is tragic to see them vanish due to the management’s inability to staff the place for success. Hopefully, this isn’t their demise. Best wishes for their success as it truly is a charming place.

What a cute spot with a lot of potential! They opened March 1st, so they're still working through the kinks, which is totally fine. The customer service was great. Everyone was very nice, attentive, and still training. The ambiance was great. I loved the decor inside and outside. They did a great job there. Let's talk about the food because this is where it's lacking for me. I got the Caprese lunch special on a french baguette, and it was good, nothing mind blowing and the bread tasted like store bought. The creme brulee was pretty bad, and honestly, it tasted like a souffle. The custard was whipped too much or something because it tasted like scrambled eggs. This spot is pretty pricey, and for what you get, they need to make some serious adjustments or turn up the quality. The sandwich was quite small, and it would've been nice to come with a side salad or even a cup of soup to round out the meal. My friend got the chicken salad sandwich and she said it was about a 3 out of 5 and would go back to try something else. We also got sweet crepes, and those were good but really sweet. Next time I go I will try a savory crepe and a coffee because they do have a great coffee menu. As I mentioned, they are new and working through stuff, so I'll give them another go in a few weeks.

We had a really great experience at Le Belleair Cafe. Its decor both inside and out really sets it apart from most other coffee shops in the area. The cafe has an elegant almost romantic feel with its French-European decor complete with an old Gramophone and motorized butterfly. We had one Savory croissant- chicken salad, and one Sweet- the Strawberry cream. Both were excellent. The flavor of the chicken salad was really nice. And the strawberry was well balanced and not too sweet like you get in many other types of “bakeries”. We also had a few drinks including a cappuccino which was the best we’ve had locally. Very creamy and not bitter or strong. Which is how I like it! And we also had a hot tea- they have a variety of flavors. And we had an iced matcha with strawberry purée added, which was also good. The service overall was good. They had 3 nice folks working and all were nice, and they came over to ask how we liked our croissants. We will definitely be going back to try the other croissants like the banana caramel and the berry ones. Also want to try the soups. Overall a great find in Clearwater!

We had the strawberry croissant, a chocolate croissant, a ham and cheese croissant, the strawberry banana crepe, and the ham and cheese crepe. The food was good. The services were one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. He was serving tables that got there after….. before the tables that were there before. After we sat down he came to take our drink order and we said we needed an extra minute to decide. We had an extra 10. He looked right at me a few times after we decided and had our menus closed waiting for him to return. After looking at me he would just walk inside or do something else. Finally, taking our order after sitting for about 15 mins. Then brought out our food 2 of us and then a few minutes later the other 2. I didn’t understand the order it came out due to only one of the foods being warmed up. My husband ordered a crepe after eating his croissant which took another 20 minutes. We asked for one box and the check and he went inside and came out with neither. Had nothing in his hands and then walked over to another table and started talking to them and helping them with whatever they needed. Then finally came out with his crepe and no box and no check. Finally, went back to get a box and then we asked for the check again and he said, “Oh you needed the check”? There was no sense of urgency at all. It was really bad. I would go back for the food...
