Grumps Burgers — Restaurant in Cleburne

Went there today for a late lunch/early dinner. It was My husband and I ,our youngest daughter,our middle daughter and her fiancée. We were sitting at our table waiting for our food,my husband had stepped out to take a phone call. A waitress brought our food out and was standing at the front of our table near my husband's seat when he came back in. He walked up and politely said "Hey princess" to our waitress and she moved over so he could sit down. Before she left the table he asked where his fries were and she read the receipt and said that there's was one burger ordered without fries,which turned out to be our daughter's fiancée's burger and she had given him my husband's fries. So problem was resolved and nothing else was said. A couple minutes pass and this young male employee approaches our table and asks my husband if he said anything inappropriate to the waitress and my husband said "No"...as did everyone at our table. Then the employee accused my husband of touching the waitress and we all said "No". One hand was on his phone and the other was putting the car keys on the table. He did not at anytime ,in any way touch the waitress. But the male employee continued to ask my husband if he had touched her...and we all kept saying "No". Then the employee proceeded to get cocky with my husband,and even made inappropriate hand gestures towards him after returning to a booth where he was eating. We all left about 5 minutes later. We will NOT be coming back. Our meal was interrupted and ruined by this employee,who decided it was ok to accuse my husband of something he did not do,in front of our daughters. The "Hey princess" is just how my husband greets a female employee....he's a trucker and I have been on the phone with him when he walks into a truck stop and greets the female cashier with a "Hey hun " or "Hi sweetheart" ....he doesn't ever mean anything inappropriate by it. Just like he would call a male cashier "Brother". Needless to say they've lost us...

I was very disappointed in this restaurant this evening. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a medium drink for $12.41. Have never been here before, semi new to the area, but wanted to give it a try especially after reading the mission statement the owners wrote....I could NOT have been more disappointed! When I ordered the girl said it would be 10-12 minutes, great I thought, they are cooking it fresh! However I literally hadn't sat down for 2 minutes and my food was brought to my table. Surprised but still anticipating a great meal I dug in! The mustard that was supposed to be on my burger was all over the wrapper it was wrapped in, had one little spot on the INSIDE of the bun that actually had mustard on it, the rest was now on my hands and the top/bottom of the bun!! Still I took a bite...the meat was ROOM TEMPERATURE and tasted like it had been cooked ages ago and sat under a heat lamp to dry out! So very very disappointing. All I could think of was why I don't I get up, get my money back and walk across the street to DQ were I KNEW I would get a HOT burger meal for 5 dollars less!! Just wished places would live up to their own hype once the new wears off...won't get my hard earned money again Grumps unless you...

I went for my birthday, my mom had been to one in burleson and said it was great. This one has a hiring sign in the front that my dad pointed out, went in. And ordered a guacamole burger. Family ordered other ones. There was maybe two other groups at seats and they only came for the teusday night drink discount. We waited 20 or so minutes and got our food. Waitresses were very sweet. But the food was aweful. My grandma got a burger with everything on it and my little sister got a Cheeseburger with only ketchup. Well my sister got my grandmas burger. And by the time she got my sister's tenley ate it any way after she picked everything off it. My grandma's burger was very burnt with burnt cheese stuck to the bun and it was cold as was my mom's and my own. Since i wasnt paying I felt guilty and scarfed the thing doen. I was really excited for my cheese fries I had hoped they would be good but it was cold fries with a very small amount melted on top but it was hard and cold :( all fries stuck together. Terrible. No homage fries mom got sweet potatoe fries and they were obvioudly frozen as were the regular. Burgers were cold. Kinda dissapainted paid 50...
