92 Chicken — Restaurant in Clementon

I had a horrible experience with the owner. This is the 2nd experience I had which was the worst which is why I am now writing a review. I came into the store with my child a friend and her child. We placed our order I asked to sample the onion sauce because I was curious to try it but did not want to add it to my food if I did not like it her refused. We ordered food to sit then we ordered food for my husband to go. I told him to make the food for here now and wait about 10 mins for my husband's food. We were sitting and I got my food after 10 mins or so maybe 1 or 2 customers came in afterwards. We saw him place another bag on the counter but did not think anything of it until after a few mins and the person I was with still had not received her food. I went to the counter and asked about our food. He said that the food that had been sitting out was for her he forgot to tell her. Well when she got her food we opened it immediately and it was clearly soggy. We asked him if he could drop it again to crisp it up so its not soggy he refused. We asked a few more time and he was like no its okay its not that big deal its only been 10 mins. What I got from the interaction is his lack of respect for the people who are supporting him. Do not come into a community and not respect your customers especially when you made a mistake. He should have heat lamps and food should not just be sitting randomly on the counter. My friend and I felt very offended and neither of us are confrontational so we left and I said I would leave a review. When an owner cannot provide basic customer service and quality control of the product they sell, it an eye opener about other sanitation and health safety of the food itself being prepared. I was hopeful that a Crunch Chikin alternative was close to home. It is good and has potential, but missed the mark of great. I ordered the chicken and rice bowl, garlic spicy and honey wings. Although the portion was good in the bowl, the picture shows it comes with tempora style fruit and veggies. I was very disappointed, the chicken was tender and the crunch was good, but the sauce was lacking a bit. You can buy more for $2 which I think is not a good move out the gate. I will say I prefer it over the general's chicken from most Chinese take out around here. Wings were good... Flavorful, but not as crunchy as we'd like. On a whim i decided to give this spot a try and im happy that i did. The food is on par/ in decent competition with my beloved korean chicken places that normally require a 45 trek into philly the shining star is that food only takes 5min to be ready as opposed to the 20-30 min of other locations. The trade off is while you are saving 15 min, it doesnt have the glass shattering crunch that other places may have. This trade off to me is an acceptable one. The parking lot is comically small so if this place gets half of the populariity it deserves then that 5 min waiting time will be a blessing. As a final note. One con i noticed is that they dont have a catering option for large orders. You just have multiply regular orders.
