Subway — Restaurant in Clemmons

I usually get the best service, and the best food at Subways across America. I don't traditionally voice a complaints, but in this case, my hand is forced in the matter. By far, this Subway , 6782 River Center Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012, is by far the worst ran, worst service, and worst food that I have ever received from a Subway. I had already sworn that I would never visit this Subway again. My girlfriend was in a situation where she had to get food, and this Subways was the closest one. I warned her, very strongly, to avoid this Subway at all cost. She had to order some food, and soon. Her sandwich was built completely incorrect. The tomatoes that the young person used was placed directly on the bread, instead of placing a bed of lettuce down prior. The bread as completely saturated with tomato juice.

I have attempted to reach to the management regarding the service and food here. The management cell phone contact I was given has never returned my calls. The kids that work here need a basic course in customer service. They act completely dis-interested in there job.

My experiences have all been horrid. This Subway closes repeatedly before the POSTED 9:00 PM closing time. One time I attempted to get service, and the door was locked. Some kid inside the Subway didn't even acknowledge me when I requested that they come to the door.

The last time I ever went here, I requested that I desired double meat on my steak & cheese. The amount the child gave me was far from eve the 'normal' amount, even beyond the standard amount allotted. When I told the kid that they are not giving me the correct amount, they got angry with me. She literally, huffed and rolled her eyes at me. I was completely floored by this response. The bread that the sandwich was prepared on was very old, and was NOT even close to 'fresh'.

To say that this Subway needs some leadership, is an understatement.

The amount of complaints about this facility on the Internet is a list that reads a mile long, I was in complete agreement with everyone that has ever complained about this Subway.

Poor service and very rude....I will never eat here again

This is our neighborhood Subway. We walk there multiple times a week. It was excellent for years - fully staffed, fully stocked, consistent. Something happened in the fall of last year, a new owner. For some reason, the store manager and all employees were immediately let go. It has been complete chaos for six months. We don't want to lose this Subway, we want it to survive, but they are constantly out of product (chips, meats, produce, soda), equipment is constantly down (tea for months, toaster oven for weeks, toilet broken for months, even the a/c in the building out), staffing is often one person through lunch (even as their core employees are really great, they can't do it alone), and recently it seems that at least once every other week they are just not open because of ingredient shortage, staff shortage, or other. This was such an immediate flip of the switch when new owner took over, from a 5+ Star to a soon-to-be 1- Star. We are really hopeful it turns around. My wife and I moved out here about 4 months ago. Since then, I’ve tried to come here to eat 4 times, today being the most recent.

The first two times, I came by around 5:30 (they allegedly close at 9 PM according to their hours posted on the door). The lights were all turned on but the doors were locked and they were closed almost 4 hours early.

The third time I came, they were actually open. There were 2 people ahead of me in line. It took 25 minutes for 2 singular orders to be taken and even then, it was a STRUGGLE. When I finally got to order, I decided not to fight it and I just took whatever the girl gave me because it was taking way too long already. Food quality that I did get was subpar, at best.

Today, I got there at 7 PM. They say they close at 9. Again, doors locked and lights turned on to look like they’re open.
