Taco Bell — Restaurant in Clemmons

I just rolled through this drive-thru at 10:53 pm on a Saturday night and the service was great. Fast, friendly, and ACTUALLY thorough. Nothing was missing and they even gave the two types of sauce that I asked for without having to ask twice. Even the ice was still frozen instead of partially melty in my cup. Im not kidding. It actually hadnt had any time to sweat at all yet, so I didn't have melt on the top of my soda when I got it. And the food!!! The food was delicious!! Hands down THE best Taco Bell I've ever eaten. The Tortillas weren't soggy OR sweaty for a change; the cheese was melty; the amount of queso was generous but not at all too much; the Lettuce was still crispy and green (?!?!?!); the shell inside of my crunchwrap was still crunchy; there was ACTUALLY a VISIBLY generous amount of cinnamon and sugar on my cinnatwists!!!!! Seriously, hitting all of those bullet points above in one taco bell visit is practically mythological. This location isn't local to me at all (I was on my way home from a friend's house) and I'm kind of devastated, because I know the locations close to me won't ever be able to compete with this particular spot. Ordered 2 Gorditas for lunch and used the bathroom while waiting. When I came out, my drink wasn't sitting there with the bag, I had to ask, and finally, a guy in the back asked me if I was the 2 Gorditas and told me it was that bag. There was no one else in the restaurant ordering or picking up. There was only 1 couple dinning in at the table. Then i asked for my cup, and the guy took about a minute and a half to go back and look to make sure I had a cup, wasn't lying, and looked at size, which is understandable but also insulting due to them not giving me the cup in the first place and then acting like I was trying to get a free drink. Very very unprofessional employees. Customer service is lacking severely here. Cleanliness and environment were not great. The vibe of the whole restaurant felt more like a police station or jail house vibe. I would eat the food here again, since the gorditas were very good as always but they should fire the staff completely and re hire people who actually do want to work, make a difference and at the very least, just...

If you order here and get it to go, plan to drive right back. I don't think I have ever got my order and not had to go back to get it corrected. Today we ordered on the app, and had the crunch wrap without lettuce and tomato, when I got home it had lettuce and tomatoes. Last time I ordered food, made it home to fond I didn't have my cinnamon twists. The time before that I was headed home from working a 14hr shift and ordered one of the boxes, when I got home and opened it, it was a huge nachos tray that was apparently for a Uber Eats order. So on that day at least 2 people got the wrong order because they got mine and I had theirs. I don't expect much from Taco Bell but D#M$!! I hope they are getting grant money from the government for hiring people with this low of an IQ!!!!
