The Italian restaurant Carrabba’s is a savory and rich place to eat with your family and friends. It is located at 2440 State Rte 50, Clermont, FL 34711, and it costs an average person around $20 - $30 to eat there. The location is easy to find, and there are several parking spots for people with disabilities and for people picking up for delivery. I went to Carrabba’s on October 10th, 2025. My family and I were looking for a good Italian restaurant to eat at that gave off Italy vibes and that had flavorful food. Carrabba’s did not disappoint. Its food, atmosphere, and service are incredible; everyone would enjoy eating at an Italian restaurant like this one. Food The first aspect of Carrabba’s that I will review is the amazing food. Carrabba’s has a wide variety of different types of food that are very popular, such as pasta, steak, marinated chicken, and ravioli. The steak and the pasta were what my family and I had. The steak was perfectly cooked, whether you got it medium, medium rare, or well done. But it didn’t only look good, it also tasted like heaven. It tastes luxurious if it were cooked by the best chef in the world. My mom got the fettuccine alfredo. She stated that the smell of the pasta gently wrapped itself around her, offering a warm culinary embrace. If you enjoy steak and pasta this Italian cuisine will be a fan favorite for you and your family.

Atmosphere Second, I am going to be reviewing the atmosphere of this Italian restaurant. Have you ever wanted to travel to Italy to see and hear the amazing culture and vibes? Well, Carrabba's makes you feel that you are actually in the country of Italy. It has sensational Italian music that will be the cherry on top of your dining experience. There are also pictures and posters of Italy’s monuments and famous singers which furthermore improves the Italian experience. There is also amazing lighting and chandeliers that hang from the ceiling that feels like a gentle hug, creating a cozy atmosphere. The comfortable booths and seats welcome you in like you are family. From the moment you walk in you realize how sensational the atmosphere is and how it creates a feeling that you are actually in Italy.

Service The third and final thing that I'm going to be reviewing is the service. Overall, the service was really good, the waitress was very welcoming and was willing to help show us the menu and recommend us what foods were most popular and tasted the best. However, one minor flaw of this experience was that the waitress did not tell us her name. It is knowledgeable that most waitresses don't say their name but it is still a reliable resource when needed. For example, my mom wanted more of her beverage, she raised her hand several times making gestures, but the waitress still didn't come unfortunately after some time. However, one thing that was delightful was that on the right side of our table there was a family of four that had a kid with a birthday. The waitress and her team sang the Italian birthday song for them, their chatter and energy made it feel like being in Italy.

Overall Experience Carrabba’s Italian Grill is a really good restaurant overall if you are trying to find a place to eat good Italian food and have a sensational time with your family and friends. The atmosphere and service are incredible, even with one minor flaw. This restaurant deserves to be given a five out of five stars for its incredible service, atmosphere, and food. We hired Carrabba's to cater our event at South Lake Christian Church in Groveland, and they provided an affordable, delicious meal for 110 attendees. They were delightful to work with the entire process! Other local Italian restaurants were not willing to offer group pricing aside from their dine-in menu prices, so we were so incredibly thankful for Carrabba's willingness to work with us within our limited budget. On the day of the event, there was a misunderstanding with the kitchen staff regarding timing, but let me tell you why Carrabba's has earned my business for life despite this mishap... Mistakes happen because human beings may unintentionally make an error. What sets this restaurant and the managerial staff apart is the extraordinary customer service we received throughout both the planning of our lunch and the communication after. Not only did they apologize profusely for the issue, but they worked incredibly hard to make it right. Our team was thoroughly impressed by their response!

The portions were generous in every way! The Chicken Alfredo was delicious and enjoyed by all. The Caesar salad was perfectly prepared! The bread and dipping sauces were far beyond what we expected as well. We worked with Nanette, and she went far above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. Her communication was spectacular. We have nothing but great things to say about Nanette and her team!

Our entire leadership has already visited Carrabba's again simply to patronize a place that has well-earned our business. Our staff families will be dining in again soon as well as a token of our gratitude. Thank you, Carrabba's and Nanette, for top-notch service and an outstanding meal. We look forward to working together again in the future!

The price of a glass of Sangria here is $12 which to me is very expensive. My wife likes to have a few glasses of it, but it becomes too expensive so we have chosen not to dine there too often. However, they had an advertisement on the web for Sangria Sunday where you buy a glass and afterwards it endless refills so we decided to go. Our waitress indicated she was new and has only been there a few days and asked if we would be patient with her to which we said no problem. We mentioned to her that we wanted to do the Sangria Sunday deal and she said that would be fine and so my wife ordered a glass. Well after my wife had her first glass we were informed by another waitress that they no longer have that promotion and so we were disappointed and decided to speak with the manager just to get an explanation as to why it's advertised, but you do not participate. His demeanor was simply one of "indifference" and the long and short of it was that he said he apologized, but that promotion was no longer valid. We explained to him this was the reason we came in and so this advertisement needs to be removed and he said I have no control over that and did not even gesture to us anything for our inconvenience. At the very least we would have thought he would have said let me do this for you and please be aware next time this promotion is no longer valid, but instead his attitude was simply sorry there is nothing I can do for you. Well that's fine as we still simply choose to no longer dine...
