BRI'S Bistro — Restaurant in Cleveland

This place was my go-to place for breakfast. However, after my experience today, I will reconsider. For breakfast, it took over 20 minutes to prepare two orders for our table. Two pancakes and Waffles w/eggs and bacon. There seem to be no urgency on preparing the orders on a timely fashion. Under the previous owner, our food was served within 5 - 7 minutes and it was hot. This time, the eggs were cold, and the waffles tasted like onions. The pancakes tasted like meat most likely cooked right next to sausages/bacon. I may try another time since the place seems to have changed ownership not too long ago and the cooks may need to get more experience in the business. But they need to get the kitchen in order and get moving. People go to restaurants to enjoy the food and the atmosphere, not to wait forever for their food and go home frustrated. You can read my review but I say eat somewhere else for breakfast. 4 of us went for breakfast. We were the only table. We all ordered breakfast only 1 order (western omelet) was served correctly after about 40 minute wait. The next order was served with some delay was to be a meat lover skillet with over medium eggs, got a meat lovers omelet. The waitress said the cooked mess up is redoing your order. The third order was pancakes with scrambled eggs, was served with eggs sunning side up. The last order was the veggie skillet with poached eggs. The order was served on a plate with 1 egg. The server said the other egg is on its way. The menu says 3 eggs. After more then a hour after the the first order was served a plate of scrambled eggs, a bowl of poached eggs and a plate with 2 eggs over hard was served. Not a good...

Perfect day to try out a new breakfast place since I have time to kill after dropping my son off at school 3 hours prior to his Sectional wrestling tournament in Independence. Wandered into a neighborhood that I have little familiarity with because Yelp directed me to Steve's Family Diner.

Watch closely if trying to find the place since you will find no large sign or parking lot ... rather it is in a string of older storefronts and some residential.

Had the Steve's Super ... 2 eggs, 2 bacons, 2 link sausage and potato pancakes. Huge potato pancakes, but they were just "OK".
