So this place has been open for about a month or so. The place has, I would say a retro with hippie vibe. Super cute and inviting. We were greeted by a lovely young lady with what I think is cottagecore style. I personally loved that and the esthetic of the place. They have lil goods that you can purchase such as t-shirts, lil novelties, herbs that from what I understood are from Greece... again the aesthetic of it was enjoyable to me. Staff had their own personalities which gives it a unique feel. The menu is pretty clear to see. You order then take your seat wherever you'd like. Don't be fooled there's more space in the back and even an outdoor area which is pretty cute. They do have music playing to jam with. But I will warn that if you do come with your kids and you do care about inappropriate language in the the music, that may be a problem. That did bug me a bit. Thankfully my 5yr old still has an innocent mind and had no clue of the foul language. Now on to the food. The bread was so good with their salted butter. We had ordered a regular cheese which was beautifully decorated with basil. Pepperoni was good but beware they do add those green peppers and because of the red pepper flakes they add, it does have a kick to it. Up onto this moment they still do not have their liquor license but I'm guessing that's in the works. Overall pretty good. Lots of luck on your business and hope these nice reviews keep...
Read moreLet me paint you the picture. Youâre dining in , you arrive at 5pm and you sit at the âbarâ , which is just bad children play seating but moving on.. you order a cocktail and the big salad , the salad is delicious the cocktail is mid. After you finish the salad you order a pizza, it comes itâs okay.. really thin .. they pound the dough so flat that you can hear throughout the whole restaurant the pounding ! Itâs not ideal , then I start watching the guys making the pizza, no gloves, only one consistently washed his hands and at one point a tall guy scratches his head, then puts that same ,now contaminated hand into the toppings (talk about gross!) NOW- stay with me ! I wanted to take another pizza to a friend so I ask to add a pizza to go . The waiter asks the manager how long for a to go and he comes back and says an hour ! What in the world? I sat down and already spent money why wouldnât you just slide that cheese in as a courtesy why treat me like a new customer? Then when I got that pizza home it was soggy and chewy.. You wanna know why?? Cause they beat that pizza like a bad kid and knocked all the CENTS outta it. Overall, this place is sustained on hype and hype alone ⌠itâs saying something when the salad is the best thing at...
Read moreEveryone in Cleveland has been hyping up this pizza place so I feel like I had to try it. We sat on the back patio, which on a hot sunny day might not be the best option. We noticed some of the picnic tables had holes for umbrellas but no umbrellas in sight. The best thing on a hot day is a nice glass of ice water. However, this place serves their chlorinated water at room temperature to mimic what itâs like an Italy. It seems like they are very concerned with serving stone fired pizzas the way the Italians do it. Except they are missing the most key ingredient of them all, the flour. They use good ole classic American flour. Probably because itâs the cheapest, most inflammatory, and loaded with the most amount of pesticides. What they should really be using is Italian soft wheat, type 00 flour. Itâs by far a superior choice.
The service was fast and the pizzas were good. I thought it was a bit pricey. Especially when you ordered extra toppings or sides, they nickel and dime you for everything.
The owner is profiting tremendously from this establishment. 23 dollars a pizza when it probably costs less than $5 in food costs. Thats an over 75% mark-up. I hope they are paying...
