I cannot believe the disrespectful service I just got at our local ice cream shop. The “owner” handled my complaint of a VERY messy chocolate dipped cone by crushing my ice cream in my hand causing a mess she didn’t offer to clean, couldnt get a picture of it before she snatched it out my hand. I’ve backed them up despite the community thinking their ice cream is trash and customer service, but now I see it. I’ve always been the first to support a small/local business and I’ve ALWAYS tipped them every visit. Daisy's is the only place my 83 year old mother will go for ice cream, banana splits are our favorite, so I took her there yesterday. She was worried that being under new management it wouldn't be made the way she was used to. We got them and sat at the tables there, even though it was alittle chilly. After a few bites she smiled and said it was the best banana split she ever had. Special thanks to the man that took our order, made them and gave my mom extra cherries on top. i didn’t grow up on this side so i never heard of this place until i goggled ice cream near me. i didn’t get any ice cream but i did get a slushee. it was like the beaded type of slush but wasn’t bad. their superman is pink, it reminds me of cotton candy but my coworker said it was good. snack wise they have cheese and chips and pretzels and popcorn. i wish they sold hot dogs as well but surprisingly they had like a coffee flavored ice cream so that made me happy. i might well come back because i do want to try...
