It smells like a pet cemetery. The entrance smells like death. Each loaf of bread has holes chewed into them and I noticed rat dropping inside the loafs. Every product has to be frozen until displayed because of their rodent problem. They have rat traps displayed for all costumers to see right next to the pastries. They use a mop that clearly hasn't been sanitized and u can smell it . It's pretty repulsive in this store. Everyone deserves to eat safe food even in poor neighborhoods. I recommend someone from corporate to come into this location. Tons of items are past expired. This store is constantly boxing down so why aren't your employees paying attention to quality control? Please please please pay attention to what you are purchasing from this location. It's not safe for consumption and I'm so surprised that they haven't shut down yet. Hire someone who can turn this place around. The health department would close the doors on this place. This is a poor area , people go thru enough over here. Please train your staff . Please care about what you are selling people to consume. Someone's gonna get really sick shopping here , god forbid it be a child. Pay attention to what you are purchasing , rats are chewing holes thru everything in this store. I no longer shop at Sav alot. I realize mistakes can happen but this is pure laziness from your staff and not properly containing your rodent problem. I wish I had taken a picture of the loaf I purchased before I noticed the bigger problem. It had a entire tunnel dug thru the whole loaf along with droppings. A box of cornstarch that I purchased sat in my cupboard for about 2 weeks before opening and it had a large piece of black mold inside of it. I should have taken pics. But really all u have to do is walk in this place and u can smell the filth and smell the rodents. U can see the bread for yourself. Be careful spending your money in here. Nobody deserves to eat...
Read moreI shot with this store if you less than twice a month. I watching the other day looking for my boyfriend because I was supposed to meet him at one of those stores and that plaza I did not know which one he was at because my phone was dead. So I walked around Save-A-Lot looks for him didn't see him and as I was walking out and African American female security guard stopped me and asked me if she had just seen me put something in my purse. I immediately told her no, that I do not shoplift I was looking for my boyfriend and she could search my purse and my body if she wanted to that's when she said no it's okay and I walked out but I was so embarrassed and disgusted by the fact that she stopped me for no good reason when I hadn't even stopped to look at a product in the store. If I can help it I will NEVER spend another penny...
Read moreWell first of all I definitely prefer this Save-A-Lot to the other Save-A-Lot in my neighborhood. The security officers at this location don't look at everyone and then they're going to stay low and follow you around like you're some kind of thug!!! The staff are much more helpful and nice then the other location as well. This location is also cleaner and actually I stocked shelves and coolers. The produce is also a lot fresher you don't find rotten produce out to be purchased. This location also does not require you to have a quarter to use a cart. I also feel safer at...
