We tried Dal Fuoco for the first time today and it was amazing! The pizza was delicious with a super fluffy and crispy crust. We also got the whipped ricotta app, and my only complaint was that there wasn't more of it. Victor was out server and was one step ahead of us all night. Will definitely be back, and looking forward to trying the drinks when the bar opens!

The food was amazing, the atmosphere intimate, the staff wise and exquisite. I enjoyed their take on Devilled Eggs - which was topped with a crispy prosciutto. The brocolli and cheddar pizza from their woodfire oven was SO good. To finish was a DELIGHTFUL tiramasu, with a killer homemade whipped cream. I can't wait to come back again.

We got the Eggplant Parmesan and a Pizza with all the meats! Awesome wood fired pizza, great dough, fresh sauce . The Eggplant was delightful! Nice and light, the sauce was bright with fresh herbs. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Dal Fuoco ~ Lakewood’s Cozy Culinary Gem

If you’re looking for a delicious meal wrapped in charm and hospitality, Dal Fuoco in Lakewood, Ohio is a must visit. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels like a warm hug ~ with a side of freshly grated Romano.

The open-air kitchen immediately builds trust with the cooks, you can see the magic happening. The raised black commercial ceiling adds a modern, spacious feel while keeping things cozy. Seating is a mix of booth and chair, with thoughtful touches like miniature salt and pepper shakers and a placard teasing their brunch and lunch menus. Though the signage is still on its way, the vibe is already welcoming and the free side street parking is a rare Lakewood bonus. A cute patio hints at dreamy warmer days to come next year.

The Order:

Italian Wedding Soup: Hot, fresh, and comforting, like a hug in a bowl. Arugula & Apple Salad: A surprising combo that works beautifully. The dressing? Chef’s kiss. Italian Beef Sandwich: Flavor-packed and hearty, served with Au jus. Eggplant Parmesan: Rich, satisfying, and elevated by their freshly grated Romano, please don’t skip it. Limoncello Mascarpone Layer Cake (to go): Light, citrusy, and indulgent. A perfect ending.

Our hostess greeted us warmly and kept the energy upbeat. The manager checked on us multiple times, making sure everything was perfect. The whole team radiated care and pride in their work.

Dal Fuoco isn’t just a meal ~ it’s a comfort ritual. Whether you’re there for brunch, dinner, or just dessert, you’ll leave feeling nourished in every sense. Highly recommend giving this local gem a try before the signage even goes up, you’ll be ahead...

Very excited to try this restaurant. Atmosphere and decor is sophisticated without being pretentious. Enjoyed the meatball appetizer, and loved how it was served in a small cast iron skillet. Decided on the lasagna for dinner. Portion could be shared as it was quite large and tasty. Definitely would recommend. Looking forward to trying out the roasted chicken and the Italian brisket on a future visit. Dessert selections all looked great, yet was full from dinner! Will make a point to order and take out next time. Made a second visit 11/13/25. Had the Whipped Risotto appetizer, and Roasted Chicken entrée. Had to be one of the BEST full-chicken meals EVER. Served actual pieces of chicken (1/2 chicken) and not conventional mundane breast portions served everywhere else. Seasoned and roasted to perfection with even the breast portion not dried out or overcooked, the entire entrée was delicious. Would definitely recommend without reservation. Thank you to Victor and Jay the Owner/Manager for excellent service and follow-up. Definitely looking forward to...

My husband & I enjoyed an exceptional meal at Dal Fuoco last night. I started with a Caesar salad, while he ordered the Arugula & Apple salad. The greens were crisp & fresh, both tossed in a light cream dressing. For our 2nd course, I enjoyed the Chicken & Spinach Rolled Lasagna - it was perfectly seasoned, topped with a delicious homemade tomato sauce, served piping hot. My husband went wild over the Pasta Bolognese, a house made sauce comprised of beef, veal & pork served over fresh fettuccine noodles. For dessert, we shared a slice of the Limoncello Marscacpone layer cake, with a side of freshly whipped cream - yum! The dining atmosphere has a very modern, upscale-casual ambiance. Our server, Victor, was very attentive, as was the General Manager. Dal Fuoco has only been open less than 2 weeks. They’re still awaiting their liquor license but, in the meantime, they offer a selection of 65 crafted sodas made with real cane sugar & a thoughtful selection of Acqua Frescas. We look forward to dining in again. From start to finish, it was a fabulous...
