These guys get a 5 from me on EVERYTHING! I wish I was allowed to give them a 10! They are the best! For 36 years, they have been my absolute favorite. I will not get barbecue from anywhere else! Nothing compares. I love all they have, their brisket, sliced, or chopped, are the best! I love their chopped beef sandwiches. Their sauce is the bomb!!!! But, aside from that…and their friendly faces and their food personalities, which are all great is the Chopped Baker! It is like heaven in your mouth!!! The potatoes are massive. They butter them, top them with brisket, sauce, (you can ask for extra if anything if you like) cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and green onions. If you want extra anything, you got it. You moved here 36 years ago, met these guys, and have never went anywhere else since…unless I was forced to due to being out of town. Even then, I missed their food. I have been from Texas, to Tennessee, Mississippi, Lousiana, Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and anywhere from n between, and have not found any better than here! They are the best. Forget the rest! We were excited the dining room was finally opened again, so went in for lunch. Food was spot on as expected. Italian cream cake was warm, moist and perfect. Shortly after sitting down my husband started to complain that he felt like something was biting his legs. I felt like something was crawling on me. Didn't see much in the low lit dining room. After lunch we walked outside, looked down and saw it was FLEAS! Our legs were covered in fleas. We stayed out front picking fleas off of us, so we didn't take them home to our pets. It was horrible. Probably one of the worst flea infestations I've been exposed to. Not fun and very disappointed. If you eat here go through the drive through. The food is delicious but the fleas are no joke.
