Edgewater Sub Shop — Restaurant in Cleveland

Never again. We saw them on Instagram and let’s just say, it looks better online. We ordered a steak & cheese and a Reuben. The small portion of meat was a joke, the steak was ice cold with RAW onions and peppers that looked like they went through a wood chipper. No flavor and the bread was barely warm if that. To top it off, the Reuben has a massive hair in it, along with a small portion of cold meat. When we called to express our concerns and ask for a refund, we were taken in circles and ultimately told they don’t issue refunds here (weird & makes no sense) they offered us free sandwiches, which we don’t want after our first experience. I don’t usually write food reviews, but I just had to share my experience at this incredible sub shop! I went yesterday and tried their popular "Edgewater Hero" with turkey, roast beef, and turkey bacon—and let me tell you, it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Every bite was packed with flavor, and the ingredients were so fresh.

I went out of my comfort zone trying something new, and I’m so glad I did. It was so good that I immediately told all my friends about it and highly recommend everyone to check this place out. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the menu has so many tempting options to explore. I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious creations! I really loved this place. The women that work here are always nice. The guy this time overcharged me for my wrap and had an attitude when I questioned him about the extra fees. I told him I wouldn’t be back if he was here with that attitude and he told me he didn’t want people like me in his establishment. I have been eating there every week since they opened.
