Christina's is awesome me and Rebecca always go here for breakfast we get pancakes I like the sausage biscuits and gravy and I get a couple sides of sausage on there their grits are great their food's phenomenal the atmosphere is good the waitresses get your food too fast they keep you with warm coffee or hot coffee rather although I cool mine down with a lot of milk but there we bring the family there the kids a lot of times after a night out me and Rebecca go there for breakfast when we go there for breakfast is anytime we're off work or Saturday and Sunday mornings they have a special recipe for their pancakes I don't know what it is I've asked him many times their pancakes don't look the normal color that you see them like a brown on the outside and white on the inside like a white cake these are a yellowish in color they're the best pancakes I've ever ate they're brown on the top but they have a golden yellow color that runs through them that I don't know what the color comes from they just don't look like any pancakes I've ever eaten but they're the best that I've ever eaten for the kids they make a Mickey Mouse face pancake which are just as good and I always like to steal the ears from my little Bailey but you know how that goes I called the Dad tax that's where I get the a bike from every kid but it's a great place check it out anybody I recommend it to anybody all the time there's not a meal there you won't get that's good get the what is they've got a breakfast it's named after like Lorraine Avenue or something I forget what it is but it's delicious it's like the best the Lorain or something or cuz they're on Lorraine Avenue but I recommend that meal it's named after one of the streets here in Cleveland for sure it's Lorraine and that's check it out they're biscuits and gravy they're pancakes eggs bacon the prices are great they're super affordable the food is delicious the service is great I can't say enough great things about Katrina's it's one of the best...

Clean, Great Tasting and Cheap

Kristina’s has all of the usual diner perks like forever flowing diner coffee in those iconic brown diner mugs. There’s that awesome mix of Clevelanders in and out of here. A great diverse mix of black, white and hispanics from what looks to be all spectrums of backgrounds (these are just broad statements to further the point of how diverse the crowd is). This is a great Cleveland diner, period.

The place is tucked away on Lorain Ave. with ample street parking. When you walk in Kristina’s you’re greeted with a friendly hello and instructed to sit anywhere you want. The diner is a mix of traditional 4 man booths and large tables that can fit at least 6-8 hungry Clevelanders. The biggest thing I noticed in comparison to a lot of affordable ”greasy spoon” diners is how clean and put together Kristina’s is. There’s signs and knick knacks with different pictures of superheroes and actors along the walls. The furniture has charm but is not run down. Too many times I walk into diners that have broken booths with holes and springs popping through them. But Kristina’s is a great example of how it should be done.

Now to the food! The food on the menu doesn’t stray from your usual diner specials like omelettes and home fries, pancakes and French toast and any combination in between. I can say there biscuits and sausage gravy are a step up than most diners that usually use a crappy powder mixture. Overall it’s fresh diner food that is not caked with butter and oil. One thing to note is they don't mind you asking to hold the mushrooms or other ingredients you may not want in your dish.

Top of the list for a great...

My first and last time ordering food from this place. Not sure why but I ordered two “super 8” breakfasts. On Google it says it should be $6.99 for one super 8 breakfast. So I check the menu pictures on Google, since Kristina’s does not have an actual website. The picture menu on Google say $8.99 for a Super 8 breakfast. On the window walking into restaurant they have a sign that says $9.99 for a Super 8 Breakfast. So I walk into restaurant to pick up my food, and I’m being charged $24 for two Super 8 meals?! Meaning one Super 8 breakfast is $12.

I paid the price with no problem but I definitely will not be coming back. Prices are not right so u pay basically whatever they say. I would take my business elsewhere. Most places diners in Cleveland for a two pancake breakfast you’ll end up paying about $12.99 for two. I paid doubled...

First time here and waiting for a takeout order. A piece of parchment paper covering the individual butter servings fell on the carpet, butter side down. The waitress picked it up and put the same side BACK ON THE Butter CUPS. I canceled my order. She tried to lie about it. The cook apologized and was very nice. No gloves, no hand washing, handling money and prepping food. If they'll do that in a full diner, imagine what's happening when no one is around. The photo is the butter stuck to the carpet and the paper after she put it back on the cups.
