Savage Burger — Restaurant in Cleveland

Whew! What a waste of time and money. I’ve had some good smash burgers but this wasn’t it. Drove 30 minutes to try this place, and was very disappointed. You can still make a smash burgers JUICY it doesn’t have to be dry and burned to a crisp. That’s exactly how “savage burger” was. I wanted to try the sauce, but didn’t want it on my burger. No sauce cups?? Come on now.. Fries were cold and soggy, and reading every negative review this seems to be an ONGOING issue. Fries are mentioned in 90% of the negative reviews. I remember eating at Saint Sadler Winery in Euclid and the food was atrocious, I guess the owner Paul still hasn’t learned that the restaurant/bar industry is NOT his forte. Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not recommend.

The atmosphere from the restaurant wasn't a thing, that was not my reason for going. I will say it was very clean inside. No one was there but the customer service from the time I walked in, was spot on. Very friendly and professional. I drove from Columbus Ohio to eat at this place and it did NOT short me of anything. Very good food! I ordered the savage deluxe with bacon. The salmon( grilled) deluxe (yes lort). The fried salmon with bacon, (whew yes) and the fries were so good, hot and fresh. The seasoning (whew wee). But let's talk about the onion rings and the sauce that comes with it...ohhh yessss, my nephew didn't get a chance to eat his onion rings right away but EVEN COLD, they were so good and so were the fries. I like fresh cut fries vs a bag of frozen processed garbage. I would drive back again, just to eat and then go back home. Everything was fresh...I even got a drink and even that didn't disappoint, and I don't drink pop. I forgot I was supposed to take a picture of my burger, sorry ya'll..it was because I was too excited to eat. You could tell the meat wasn't from a box or frozen and processed, like McDonald's but it was fresh. Great experience that hit the spot! So glad we were able to attend this free Yelp Elite event and the burgers and fries did not disappoint. I got the savage burger with pepper jack cheese and seasoned fries and my wife got the same thing. The portion size in the fries were really good to share with our son.

The service was very friendly and helpful with our questions. The place was clean and we were glad there was seating for such a small place. I could see this being a franchise in the future because it has a good name. They would just need to figure out their theme and it would take off. This place reminds me of five guys burgers but savage.
