Smedley's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cleveland

Absolutely love this place and I love it more because they hired Jamie which is a special needs man that is the sweetest thing. He is a bar back.. please if you're in smedleys please be nice to him. Today I witnessed something that made me sad for humanity.. someone at the bar pushed Jamie being unaware of his social boundaries.. I was disappointed that there was no security to protect Jamie. Instead I had to jump in and tell an older gentlemen that what he did wasn't right and still he insisted it wasn't his fault and that Jamie should've been behind the bar.. and that makes me mad and sad for society. If you can't have a drink and be aware of who and what is around you then drink at home. Don't go into smedleys ever thinking it's okay to treat humans wrong ESPECIALLY JAMIE!!! Wow this is the first time we have ever been here.This is our new favorite place! Lisa suggested the Corn beef hash to start and they make it with real ends from a corn beef roast not lunch meat and the plate was huge! Great price also. Then we ordered lunch and a Bloody Mary. The food was phenomenal and super high quality! After that we were approached by Barb from the kitchen with homemade cupcakes!
