The Little Rose Tavern — Restaurant in Cleveland

Maybe the most comfortable little neighborhood bar I've ever visited. Extremely low-key, no frills, welcoming to all, warm atmosphere. I'm not vegan, but the vegan food was super tasty, lots of options. I am sober, and I was impressed with their non-alcoholic options- especially how they were presented- no judgement, printed on the regular drink menu in the same font, same size as the regular drinks. I didn't feel silly or judged ordering a non alcoholic IPA and I didn't have to ask for options, they're just there with the other grown up drinks. They were hosting a "trashy trivia" event that was super fun and inclusive. 10/10 great little low-key hangout for queers, misfits, or regular joes. TVs were loud enough to hear without being disruptive, staff was approachable and attentive, event was small but felt welcoming and not too competitive, not overwhelming. Plenty of seats. Picked-up a take home meal from here. Everything is VEGAN, and tastes incredible. The Smash Burger might be the best vegan burger in Cleveland, the Loaded Tots are fantastic, and a meal all themself, and the pierogis, yes VEGAN pierogis are just like you expect to find in Parma, BUT VEGAN. Word to families: NOT family friendly. This is a bar setting, the wallpaper is inappropriate for family visits and some of the viewing choices on the big screen televisions are not kid friendly. I hate giving low ratings to Vegan companies as we need so many more options out there. But today's visit was not it for me, they were pretty busy and seemed to be understaffed since the individual behind the counter kept saying they don't work there. The drinks looked good but I didn't try any. The bathroom was filthy, wait was long, and food was extremely salty.
