Ordered two premium cheeseburgers through their mobile app and went to pick up via the drive thru for our late night movie fest. Came home, seemed to be wrong order and my teenager was bummed. Went all the way BACK, let them know our order was wrong and waited through the drive thru line again. Gave them back the old burgers, they remade (never said sorry or anything and I was really pleasant as I know food service is hard work). Checked the burgers before pulling away from the window…wrong again. Looked like they were missing cheese. When the guy came back—obviously annoyed I was still at the window—he asked “what’s wrong now?” I explained—no cheese. He THEN told me they were out of cheese. Ummm…why not share that info earlier? There were no signs up and they never said a word. I told him ok, but I didn’t want the burgers and would like a refund. He refused to take them back and wouldn’t refund the order. He went to get his manager (?) and she explained that health codes meant they couldn’t take back food I had touched (they just had with the original order 2 minutes prior but ok) and she couldn’t refund my money because I paid through Wendy’s app (not door dash or an external app—their own in house app). I asked for a gift card for the amount bc I shouldn’t have to take the time to contact a new set of people for their error. If they had just shared the cheese situation when I came to pick up—or even when I came back but before they made the order again—we could have saved everyone time and not wasted food. She said she couldn’t credit me and I would have to talk to customer support. So, I asked for the contact info and the store/her details. I wasn’t happy but was still polite and told her I knew it wasn’t something she had power over. She gave me the # and I said, ok—just going to verify it works and would try and get a refund the next day. Then her manager (who knew there was another one?) came and told me I was holding up the line and if I didn’t move he would call the police. Was a shock as I had literally 20 seconds after she handed me the piece of palate and I had started to dial the number to check that it worked. I had been polite while they had been kinda hostile the whole time. Guess they get annoyed if they think someone wastes their time (know how that feels buddies: 2 trips, zero midnight meals, and $10 bucks later with a call still to be made to try and get refunded and I know what having my time wasted is.) Only silver lining is that there’s homeless cats in the next parking lot so I gave them the meat to eat and threw the rest of the incorrect g order away. Someone got fed. I know fast food is hard work but this is just a bad way to do business. If you don’t have a major ingredient just tell people rather than slipping them the order you know is wrong twice and hoping they don’t notice or are too annoyed to return. You’re setting yourself up for conflict and that’s...
Read moreWent thru the drive thru as I always do. Ordered two Dave's single plain, no cheese, catsup only and a small fry, the cashier states the amount. I say for two single and fries. The cashier says you ordered two double s meals. I said no I ordered the bogo for a dollar and sm fry. The manager interrupts and says no you didn't. If that's not what you want then you can have a nice day. They wouldn't serve me. Last week I pulled up to the speaker waiiiiiited, other cars pulled up to the other speaker and they took their order, when they started taking another card order I said excuse me is anyone there, they said oh your going to have to wait your turn were taking someone elses order, then I sat a couple minutes no order taken I left. Today that same manager took my order, snotty attitude. I gave her my gift card, she hands it back. I ask for a receipt, she says we don't have any register tape. My husband likes it so I go there a couple times a week, it's been months since they have had register tape. Hello, this is how we know you ordered what we wanted, how we know were overcharged, how we know the cashier that served us and most importantly the balance on our gift card. I worked for Wendy's for years, and actually met Dave a couple times. He is probably rolling over in his grave the way this restaurant is being run. Good luck when my gift card is empty I will never come back. The manager is a short white girl with glasses and has no problem screaming out the drive thru mf this...
Read moreRead moreNever in my life did I have a deal like the one they gave me today, it's the worst deal of all, I got almost the whole order wrong, I asked to change one of the Southwest Avocado Sandwich and the 3 employees who were started making fun of me for having asked them to change the sandwich, they simply put the meat that was in the moment even though I ordered one of the sandwich that was Crispy and they gave me homestyle because they did not have the crispy, they return the sandwich with bad attitude, They did not return the receipt and they closed the window in my face and by the time I got home I realized that they gave me 2 chicken sandwich one with cheese and the other with a lettuce and not the cheese burguer I ordered from the kidsmeal for my children. literally spend almost $ 30 for a food disaster for some employees who know nothing of customer service, thanks to them my children could not eat their hamburgers, I feel offended, outraged and extremely annoyed by the treatment of these women and lack of respect for laughing at a customer. this was today, Sunday, June 3, 2018 around 12pm on the car service. I recommend that you do not go to that hour or ask for the car service, they always do things wrong and this can happen to you.I would not give him any star but I have to give him on...
