We visited on a Thursday night. Upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess. She was friendly, kind, and quickly found us a table. Our waitress was attentive & polite. We were informed of the wide variety of adult beverages & with it being our first time visiting, she offered us a little more time to look over everything. I highly recommend the Fat Heads Strange Magic draft beer - it was delicious, light tasting with a beautiful color to it, and no bitter after taste. The spinach artichoke dip was really good. I like that it was served with a side of salsa. My husband ordered the chicken nacho meal & we thought it looked & sounded delicious, however he felt it was just ... ok & if served with a different style of chips, maybe shredded chicken instead of chunked, or something it would have made a huge difference. I ordered Bo-Man's Bacon Cheeseburger cooked medium rare with a side of onion rings. My burger was amazing!! Cooked to perfection with flavor that was out of this world. :) The onion rings were probley the best onion rings I've ever had .... I'm not even close to joking. I shared there onion rings with my husband because my meal was super filling and he needed to believe me that they were the best - He agreed. The over all atmosphere of the Winking Lizard was cool. There are various framed concert posters on the walls which we loved. Seating consists of tables or the bar area. The tables currently have hung plastic partitions between them to meet covid safety guidelines. Clean restuarant, clean restrooms, great music, wonderful staff. We're hoping to return for a visit so we can put in a higher review in the future.

This is a story of failure and success. They took my drink order right away. The beer came and I put in my dinner order. While waiting on my dinner I was chatting with someone and lost track of time. After about 50 minutes without my food I flagged down a bartender (Not the same one who took my order) to check in on my food. Turns out, it was entered into their computer. The manager came over and said that my food and beer would be on him. They placed the order and brought it out as well as second beer. The grilled rye on my Patty Melt was way over grilled. I ate it anyway because I was getting tired and it was getting late. When the bill came I was a bit surprised since I was told that the food and one beer would be free. But, I ate and drank the food so I would pay for it. The trouble is that not only was the food that was promised for free on the bill there was a 3rd beer. So I asked to have them take the 3rd beer off. The bartender who didn't place the order in the first place needed to call the manager over. The manager came over and apologized profusely and then said that he would buy everything and wanted me to pay nothing. Issues arise. People forget to do things and food sometimes get's overcooked. I'm ok with mistakes. As long as the people are ready to admit the mistake and do what they can to make amends for those mistakes. That is what happened here. The manager did all that he could to send me away with a smile on my face.

#1 restaurant to avoid if you have food and customer service standards. A colleague and I decided to dine Tuesday (2/19/19). Our server Alexa was pleasant, however that’s where the positive ends. I ordered ribs, mac’ n cheese and coleslaw. The ribs were burnt (extremely dry) see pictures and the mac’n cheese looked to be from a boxed. I asked Alexa to bring me a different side because I’m not a fan of boxed mac’ n cheese. She told me that she could take it, but they would have to charge me for a different side. I asked why and she said that her manager always gives her a hard time we customers ask for things to be corrected or changed and that the customer would have to pay for a new side. I asked to speak to the manager. John “the manager” then came to our table and asked why/what was wrong. I explained to him that I had not touched the food but I knew I wouldn’t like it (boxed). He stated that it was homemade (which is a definite lie). We had a discussion about it and advised that he would replace it this time for no charge, but next time... NEXT TIME WILL NEVER COME! I am planning on contacting the General Manager, but the customer service is below par. ***kitchen staff either needs to be retrained on food quality standards or replaced and John “the manager” definitely needs to be demoted to bus boy.***

I so badly want to like this place. My third time here and my third time being completely disappointed in simple American food! First off, once you get a table the service is actually pretty good. People are friendly, and there’s a great jovial atmosphere in the space. I have NEVER had a bad server! All that said, on this my third trip I waited over four minutes for a table. May not sound like much to some, however, when you are waiting for a table during your midday lunch break, timing is huge! After being seated, things were fine. ((Tip for Resturant) If people are waiting to be seated, and no one is there to pick up food, have the person at the front register get people to tables, it feels lazy when they’re just standing there looking at their phone while there’s a line waiting for tables!) Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, medium rare with a side of onion rings. They charge extra for onion rings, which is fine, however, the quantity given to me was less than the fries they gave other customers at base price! Why pay extra and get less? To top it all off, the Burger I ordered medium rare was presented beyond well done. Dry, hockey puck. This is my only review here, but my 3rd attempt to enjoy a meal here. Maybe it’s better in the evening or when games are on?

We were killing a couple hours before air flight to home and wanted lunch with diverse menu as one of our party has dietary limitations. After a quick Yelp search, we settled on this location. I had the veggie wrap which was very good and came with steak fries which were quite yummy. I will admit t having any affinity for fries from the "golden arches" so steak fries usually get a "meh" from me. But these were good...slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger which was nicely sized and also the fries PLUS a sizeable dill pickle spear. Our son tried out the chicken with slaw and beans...said it was good but not notable. The beer menu looked AMAZING (see attached) but alas we were getting on a plane. Without going TMI, we did not want any reason to use that airplane bathroom...ya get me? If you're not a native Cleveland-er, my tip is to have a pocket of quarters cuz parking is on the street with meters...$1.00 for an hour and it will not go longer than an hour. Thankfully I set an alarm on my phone and made one quick trip out to feed the parking beast since we weren't done yet

I loved the beer selection. They had a huge tap list. Everything was more than affordable. Food was delicious. My biggest complaint is the staff. We had two different servers and they where both the most ingenuin people I've ever meet. They would ask you a question and before i could even respond she would go "good good" and than begin the next phase of her routine. I'd rather you just not ask me questions if you're not even gonna pretend to listen. Neither of them where attentive, we had to find them multiple times to get more beers and things we needed. I tried to ask the bartender at one point for something. He told me to sit down because I had a server. Well no duh but shes no where to be found. Apparently nobody wants to help customers in here. They dropped checks off multiple times before we where done drinking. It's like they where trying to push us out when we where sitting there spending money. Just a frustrating overall experience. Has a lot of potential just needs someone to get the staff whipped into shape. Or at least let them know that customers are how a business like this stays open.
