Absolutely incredible views and a lot of activities to do. The area has come alive in the past few years and it’s sort of the way old-school Cleveland was once upon a time described to be like, before the modern downturn over the past several decades. Walking through the downtown streets and driving around the city and neighborhoods— something is changing recently and the city life is reawakening and foot traffic is crowding out again filling these once empty sidewalks, streets, and parks.
The renovations of old deteriorating buildings, influx of brand new high-rise apartment buildings and office spaces around the city core, the mega sports-complex renovations, and all the construction and added spaces has helped fuel the upswing and the city is looking younger and more alive each year. Still a lot of work and improvements needed, especially with local services and corruption in leadership roles… but the recent developments taking place in city and county elections has brought about a fresh, younger, more progressive and diverse leadership.
I have been returning to visit regularly now and considering moving back to the city soon! I am coming to appreciate it more as it improves and I feel like it’s got so much potential. The lakeside views are amazing, the city lit up this time of year always looks beautiful by the lake… Christmas lights throughout the city, and the skyscrapers lit up at night! Makes for some stunning aerial views. The area has a lot to offer: water activities, nature with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park extending from the Southside of Cleveland all through to Akron basically, then you’ve got the rolling green hills at the eastern burbs and into the next county over, the Central City has numerous prestigious museums and educational institutions, the winter offers its own set of events and opportunities for those who love snow and wintertime fun!
Just a great city! I’m happy to see it coming up. Put it this way… I would move to Cleveland over...
Read moreIm using my mother's account but my opinion is mine you dont have to like it but im from cleveland and love it . And i was extremely surprised to find out that our down town was cleaner nicer. Then Hollywood.. We dont have people living in tents all over out streets downtown also there are homeless people everywhere asking for money cigs food ect. And its annoying yes but people who never had to worry about where the next meal where come from or worry about being able to get your child diapers or a bed you will never understand whag its like to have to beg or ask. And its not as easy as sayin get a job Well who wants to go to an interview when you smell like piss or dont have the skills. Our so called great county aka government is so worried about our borders or some other BS what they need to do is take the homeless ofd the street give more help to thoes who need it. But im sorry about the rant of how America has let me down and so many others.

Only that it's not even pretty I mean what did you spend all of our money or there's nothing the tractions are not sightseeing there are sore eyes for me and I just could never understand why you spent all of this money to open up a place in downtown Cleveland with the old downtown we was just perfectly fine maybe you just need to fix the streets but instead you wouldn't spend millions of dollars that could have went to work doing tons of everything's in the city of Cleveland to ruin the original downtown to build a silly circle that's always congested always loaded with traffic I mean come on what is your problem what made you decide to do this who told you to do this I wouldn't I would have bought it down but now you thought that you were doing something for the city of Cleveland that's not it that's just not it the new downtown is ugly one big circle I think you're trying to copy of New York but guess what it's too small for that you need to go outside of the box this...
