Antep Kitchen: A Turkish Delight That Hits All the Right SpotsStepping into Antep Kitchen is like being whisked away to the vibrant streets of Istanbul, where the aromas of freshly prepared dishes and the warmth of Turkish hospitality envelop you. This gem of a restaurant delivers an authentic and unforgettable dining experience, with standout dishes that showcase the rich, bold flavors of Turkish cuisine. The meal began with their lentil soup, a bowl of pure comfort that set the tone for the evening. It’s clear this soup is homemade, with a fresh, hearty blend of lentils, spices, and just the right touch of warmth. Each spoonful was velvety and perfectly seasoned, making it an ideal start that left me eager for what was to come.Next, the shepherd salad arrived, a vibrant medley of crisp vegetables—tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and parsley—dressed in an exceptional sauce that elevated the dish to new heights. The balance of tangy, zesty, and slightly herbaceous notes in the dressing made every bite refreshing and addictive. It’s the kind of salad that makes you forget it’s healthy because it’s just that good. The star of the show, however, was the Iskender kebab, a dish that deserves every bit of praise it gets. The tender, succulent meat was cooked to perfection, layered over warm, buttery bread and drenched in a rich, savory tomato-based sauce that was nothing short of divine. A dollop of creamy yogurt on the side added a cooling contrast, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. Each bite was a masterful blend of textures and tastes, showcasing the kitchen’s skill and dedication to authenticity. The ambiance at Antep Kitchen is cozy yet refined, with attentive staff who make you feel like a welcomed guest. The service is prompt and friendly, ensuring every need is met without being intrusive. From the warm bread served at the table to the meticulous presentation of each dish, it’s evident that Antep Kitchen takes pride in delivering a top-notch experience. In short, Antep Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine that’s crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a fan of lentil soup, crave a fresh and zesty salad, or want to indulge in a kebab that’s pure perfection, this restaurant delivers on every front. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!Rating: 5/5 Stars Highly recommended for food lovers seeking a taste of Turkey done right.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Antep Lahmacun – Finally in America! At Antep Kitchen in Cliffside Park, NJ, I had the best lahmacun I’ve ever tasted in the U.S. The unique flavors of Antep cuisine have truly been brought here. The lahmacun is perfectly crispy, generously topped, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients — you can taste the quality in every bite. Their pide is just as delicious, with a golden, crunchy crust that tastes like it came straight from a stone oven. At the end of the meal, we were served a complimentary carrot-slice baklava with ice cream — it was the perfect finishing touch! A delightful gesture that shows how much they care about their guests. The owner, Hasan Gültekin, is incredibly welcoming, sincere, and clearly passionate about his work. His warmth and hospitality add a special charm to the entire dining experience. Ms. Gül, our server, was friendly, attentive, and very kind — her service made the meal even more enjoyable. We are a family with four generations in this profession and have been running Turkish restaurants in the U.S. for over 20 years. Yet I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve tasted such authentic lahmacun in America. They’ve truly brought the spirit and flavor of Antep here. Bravo to the entire team — highly recommended!

I recently visited Antep Kitchen and tried their lahmacun, and it was absolutely amazing! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while the topping was a flavorful mix of minced meat and fresh spices. Each bite was a delightful experience, and the freshness of the ingredients truly set it apart from any lahmacun I’ve had before. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or just looking to try something delicious, I highly recommend Antep Kitchen. You won’t regret it! Can’t wait to go back for more!

I really dont understand how this place has such a high rating. I am pretty sure they have asked some friends to leave good comments. First they got our order wrong. We should have left at that point. I dont know how you can mess up an order when there is literally no other customer at the restaurant. The LAHMACUN was a joke. Its more like a bread with onions and some herbs. I guess you need a microscope to find ground beef in it. ADANA KEBAP was so dry. I had a hard time swallowing it. A frozen kebap would taste far better than what they are serving. Traditionally the çöpşiş comes on a skewer, and it is supposed to be lamb not beef. The salad that they gave us on the side was dripping in olive oil. You are supposed to ask if a customer wants dressing on the salad or not. They put the olive oil without even asking us. Please stay away...
