Ametis Pizza — Restaurant in Clifton

On May 28 I ordered a large pie with extra cheese throughout and half peperoni - half veggie (tomato, pepers and onions). The total I was charged was $ 20.10 , two additional dollars than my previous orders. I used to order at least twice a month there the same style pies and the price was always $ 18.00 , I gladly left everytime the $2 as a tip to make a round $ 20. Now questioning the lady why price was increased she did not give me a satisfactory answer and she did not show me the breakout of the cost. The worker, a new Young gentleman looked at me and showed his disatisfaction but he did not comment. He prepared the order and arriving home and opening the box I realized I had the absolute worst pizza I ever saw.... Peperoni? only 6 slices, extra cheese melted in the middle of the pie, mushy and greasy. The pie was burnt on the edges but not cooked inside. Obiviously tht was a revenge for my question of the price. They changed the team, the Young lady cashier was arrogant compared to previous ones, the pizza worker by far less competent... Initially I was planning to go back to the store and show them but I realized it is not worth the gas...But for sure, this is the last time when I will stop at this place and I will tell about my experience to all my neighbors and friends... Get back on track Ameti if you want to remain in business, otherwise Clifton will reject you very soon! Valentin...

I ordered my food at 6:19pm and was given an estimated arrival time of 7:19-7:29pm. I received my food at 8:04pm. The order was a large pie with half sausage and an antipasto. The pizza arrived cold. Not room temperature, not warm, COLD! I called to complain on the lateness and that is cold. They offered 20% off my next order, I declined. Said I want a refund of the pizza they came back with if it hasn’t been eaten they will pick it up for a refund. We ate 2 slices and a little bit of the antipasto. Which the antipasto was very good, sorry I couldn’t eat more. Since they wanted it back, I said I’ll send everything back and I want a full refund including tip and delivery. They said they would have a driver within the hour pick it up. I told them it will be on the porch since now I have to go out and get something to eat. They were beyond rude! I would never order or go to this place. Hope they don’t try to sell the pizza or antipasto as we salted it pretty well! Horrible! I was willing to forgive with a refund of the pizza, but then you say you want to pick it up? Really? Bad customer service. Grub Hub customer service was great! Beware of this place! You may be getting someone’s returned item that was touched, possibly spit on, spiced etc. Sorry but that’s my opinion when a place wants...

I had the most incredible experience at Ametis Pizza in Clifton, NJ recently. Last week, our Church celebrated its Annual Feast Day, and some of us had been working tirelessly at the Church until late, around 09:45 PM EST. We were absolutely starving, and that's when we made the decision to grab some pizza. Our choice to visit Ametis Pizza turned out to be a heartwarming and memorable one.

The owner of Ametis Pizza is a true gentleman. Upon learning that we were not only ravenous but also engaged in this work for our Church, he extended an incredibly kind and generous offer. He decided to provide us with all the slices we needed at a hugely discounted price. This compassionate and considerate gesture left us all deeply touched and grateful.

Ametis Pizza didn't just satisfy our hunger that night; it filled our hearts with warmth and gratitude. We are truly thankful to Ametis for his wonderful gesture, and it's safe to say that we'll be returning to Ametis Pizza many, many more times in the near future.
