The customer service I received on 01/12/2019 was horrible. 1st off I made a reservation on 01/10/2019 for 6 people using THEIR WEBSITE!!! My best friend called on that Friday to just confirm and the hostess by the name of Yara said that there was NO RESERVATION and that they were no longer taking reservations on Saturday's as they had to accommodate a large party. I then called and spoke with Yara and Alejandra who both were not pleasant at all and very short with me and they informed me that my reservation was cancelled and they couldn't accommodate me. I asked to speak to the manager (P.J.) and he told be that because of the confusion he would HONOR MY 8P.M. reservation for Saturday. When we arrived the Hostess told me again that there was NO RESERVATION. I was furious to say the least. I had to put my name down in a notebook which I thought was tacky and unprofessional. I requested to speak to P.J. ( the manager who was bartending at the time) and he came over LIED and told me that he was going to "TRY AND ACCOMODATE ME". THERE WAS ZERO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE MANAGER AND THE TWO HOSTESS AT THE DOOR. I was told after waiting and 1 hr and 45 min that the next table available will be mine. Due to the lack of communication and PROFESSIONALISM WITH THE STAFF, the hostess I believe Yara sat a group of 4 before me and when I reminded her that SHE told me I would be next, her response to me was "you should have said something when they got up". I noticed the 2 owners walking around they never came to me or anyone and checked on them as well as the manager was completely UN-PROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. No one sincerely apologized they just want $$. The food was at best MEDICORE. I WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS LOCATION OR THE ONE IN THE CITY. SHACKING CRAB NEEDS VAST IMPROVEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. GO TO JUST BELCAWS IN JERSEY CITY, NJ WAYYYYYY BETTER FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. IF I COULD GIVE THIS RATING A ZERO I WOULD. Read moreI've been to this establishment many times and last night 10/2/21 was the worse ever table for three people. The waitress Christina was on point. My disappointment was when one drink came to the table 15min earlier than the other two drinks. Now, let's start with the real issues on how my shrimp in a bag came out separate from my entire boil. Why would I as a customer have to put my boil together at the table when I'm paying for the boil to be put altogether in one. This was very messy.I had my food for 30min before my girlfriends food came out. I thought we were dinning together. Finally, their food came out and they're missing items from their boil as well. All the proper utensils were missing from the table. We had to ask for bibs and seafood picks. The male manager didn't even know what the tool was called. His response was was we don't have that "you want a spoon" until we had to call him again because we saw other guest using the tool. The manager Mai was very unprofessional and disrespectful to the waitress told her to "hush I'm speaking ". I told her it wasn't Christina fault and the problem came from the kitchen. Mai the manager was not helpful at all. She did very little to better the service and to make up for the time we waited on our meals. People came in before us and left after and our order was not filled in which they were ordered. This was unprofessional, an inconvenience and a big disappointment to a paying customers time.
