We went there for a dinner. Ordered itemsthe way we can try different items. We had a podi masala Dosa which was awesome. Cheese pav bhaji which was above par. Menduvada also amazing and vada pav that was above par. Overall good good but go for the things they are really good at! South Indian dishes!! There are some other places that you may find other street food like pav bhaji or vada pav in the same town. There is no table Service here. You order at the counter and when the bell rings, you get your tray with food. Unlimited free and very delicious sambhar that we loved. Food is served and consumed with paper and plastic cutlery. This is a food joint and not a fancy restaurant with great ambience or table services. You go for great south Indian dishes and you get it!! Staff at the counter is very friendly!! Kitchen is fully visible from the counter. You can see them making your good If you wish. Clean kitchen. No nonsense and no unnecessary frills. I think it works for the business and food lovers to keep the menu at a good price point. Go enjoy with your frieo and family!! There is street parking but also a lot at the side of the place and off...

Not so good: maybe we went on an off day going by the other reviews however I didnt have the same experience sadly. I was quite excited to try the place and ordered some idlis.
It arrived in a styrofoam plate with plastic spoons. The tomato chutney was made with canned tomatoes and had the can like taste still, was underseasoned, the idli batter was over fermented and a bit dry around the edges. The sambhar was watery and ok. Vada tasted like.. not a vada. Water has to be bought, no glasses of tap water are available. For almost $12 a plate I atleast would like quality food even if it’s on styrofoam like we’re in McDonalds.
I really hope the place steps up because I’d love to continue to support a vegan friendly local Indian restaurant!
Neutral but noteworthy: The place is fully self service, order at counter and pick up. Sambhar is in a pot next to napkins and such - you...
Read moreI am giving 5 star of the food I tasted . We got Podi dosa which great. Mysore masala dosa was good too , I loved the masala stuffing for the dosa as well. Idli was soft and vada was was crispy. Both the coconut and tomato chilli chutney tasted great . The sambar is not very thick but a little thin and soupy in consistency and tested very good. I recommend this place for dosa and idli vadas. I will keep posting when I taste any other dishes from this place . I am definitely coming back again.
Negative- One disappointing I have is use of plastic spoon . I would suggest the owner to get the wooden spoon ( the cheaper version of course) which can be used and trashed . I would not like to dip the plastic spoon in hot sambar as a health conscious person. Alternatively , I just sipped the sambar from the cup and used the spoon only for...
