Clinton Coney Island — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Overall I give this Coney Island a 2 star rating. The service and wait time was great. The issues are with the food… I ordered eggs, links, hash browns and pancakes. The eggs cane out great other than that the pancakes were grainy and bland, the links were hard like they was made an hour before and served to me and my hash browns had were not cooked all the way. My wife ordered a Veggie Omelette and it was overcooked but On the plus side she said her toast came out right. I hope the place pays attention to this review and have a good look at how the food is being prepared and served. Maybe it wasn’t a good day for them. I love this Coney, reminds me of the same places I used to get food in the Detroit and down river to Royal oak, but so SOOOO MUCH BETTER THEN A LEOS CONEY ISLAND! Always get greeted by one of the amazing Staff or the crazy cooks LoL! I love really appreciate that they remember my orders and my name and they’re going to always treat you like family and I love that! We actually have a lot of good talks and I always get a lot of good laughs with the entire staff even though I only pick up mostly they will always have my business! Thank you so much...

We were from out of town and cruising the Heritage Trail sales, ask Local where to go for breakfast and referred to this Coney Island. We didn't want fast food. We ordered the mini omelette and it was quite sufficient, two egg omelette, home fries, and a slice of Texas toast. I had the veggie omelette and it was filled nicely with veggies, my spouse had the cheese and sausage omelette and each bite had sausage. Coffee was good and refills plenty.
