Terrible customer service. Pulled up to the drive-thru with a few cars ahead of me, which all had their orders taken. Sat at the drive-thru intercom for over 10 minutes with no response. I asked “hello? is anybody there?” a few times with more silence from the intercom. I waited some more. At this point my patience was worn thin and I thought maybe the intercom is broken or something. I drove ahead to the drive-thru window. All the cars ahead of me were gone at this point. A bewildered Starbucks employee opens the drive-thru window and asks if I have a mobile order. No…I’m just trying to figure out why nobody has uttered a single word to anyone waiting in the drive-thru for the last 15 minutes. Nobody is wearing a headset in here? Is “we’ll be right with you” too difficult to say? I order my drink, a different woman brings it out, and she uses her absolutely terrible customer service skills to irritate me even more. Which is why I’m writing this review in the first place. I got time today. You don’t hand an upset customer their drink and say “you’re welcome” completely unprompted. I didn’t thank you for anything. The proper way to diffuse that situation is “we are really sorry about that wait, it’s extremely busy in the lobby and we’re doing the best we can”. If you don’t understand the concept of good customer service in a service related industry,...
Read moreI'm a DAILY customer at this location and I question why every single day do I still choose this location. The drinks are never consistent and I place a mobile order! I don't know how much clearer you can be other then a written order (and time to prepare it). I've spoken on Several occasions to the workers on how I can order my drink so it comes out the same daily and that it's ACTUALLY filled to the top. They have no answer and just apologize every time and remake the drink. I do not want to wait or drive back for this all the time. With that said, that's exactly why I'm leaving this review. I've spoken to the actual business (something everyone always suggests doing first) already and no adjustments have been.
I used to go to the Starbucks at Gratiot and Masonic rd. They actually get to know their daily customers. I'd pull up, they'd know my name and drink order! I truly felt the value of the drink and customer service there! Especially when you spend $7 a day there which is $217 a month!
For reference I get a grande white mocha latte with no foam and whip cream. It's not anything custom.
I also provided pictures of this daily problem in hopes they will adjust the training of crew members. Starbucks is a treat to some people, please make it worth...
Read moreThey don’t even deserve 1 star. We still go here because it’s geographically convenient in distance from our workplace, but I’ve never had a worse experience as a consumer in my entire life. We always arrive with plenty of time before we work and pretty much always end up being late, and I wish I was kidding when I say 98% I leave with at least one thing incorrect or missing altogether. Every time I call to complain I’m met with excuse after excuse, and only after this last time was given even remotely acceptable compensation for the way I’ve been treated and how much money I’ve WASTED. My husband once had to go back inside 3 different times to PROVE that we ordered banana bread, only to be given one slice and had to go in a 4th time to receive the second with no compensation for my coffees sitting while waiting or my time wasted and being late to work. Not even an apology. I could go on but this is already long enough. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! You will wait forever to receive a drink lacking in quality due to how long it’s sat ready or the wrong drink all together and they...
