Classic Family Grill — Restaurant in Fraser

My husband & I used to frequent this restaurant, and had really became regulars, BUT...We will NEVER-EVER return to this restaurant, they will NEVER get a single penny of our money EVER again, and the MOST DISAPPOINTING aspect is it's solely due to the individual who CLAIMS to be the "owner" HOWEVER...My husband & I have met BOTH of the owners (the Husband, Wife, and even their son ~ of whom have ALL been nice, when dining in), but the individual answering the phone & claiming to be the "owner" is APPALLINGLY RUDE... Regardless of whether the individual is FALSELY claiming to be the "owner" OR the owner/management has switched hands, we will NEVER-EVER return here & provide our money to a business who (OBVIOUSLY...) does NOT seem to respect OR value their paying customers the way ANY business rightfully should, so I strongly suggest you save yourself the IGNORANCE EXUDED by the (so-called) owner & simply take your business ELSEWHERE...Where you're business, money, and self are treated w/ the proper appreciation, respect, and value!!!!! It's truly unfortunate ANYONE should be regarded the way we have been, but NEVER-EVER AGAIN...!!!!! Hope your (so-called) "owner" is PROUD of herself for (LITERALLY...) chasing away ANY business (let alone actual "Regulars") due to her awfully terrible demeanor & certainly unprofessional attitude/mannerisms... Perhaps, you should SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER the business you're in, if you can't seem to be capable of simply treating your customers/REGULARS w/ the common decency & respect EACH & EVERY customer certainly deserves!!!!! All I know is, we've been treated RUDELY for the very last time & we'll NEVER-EVER give this Pathetic business our loyal business/money, AND I can assure you (RUDE, so-called, "owner") I will make a point of telling ANYONE & EVERYONE I can to NEVER provide you (ANY...) business... I gave an overall rating of 4 but it’s really a 3.5.

This a nice family diner and the waitresses seemed very nice . All the food has the possibility of being a 5 but some of the ingredient quality could be better . For example I believe they use white American cheese but say it is Swiss or mozzarella depending on the dish . This was a big disappointment to me as I had the French dip and having white American taste in it when you are expecting something different … than the roast beef seemed like a pressed meat va a real roast beef . I’d even take roast beef lunch meet over that . But the presentation looked good .

I had French fries with gravy and ( suppose to be Mozzarella cheese ) again it was not mozzarella and tasted like the processed white American . If I order again I’ll leave the cheese off as it takes away if that’s not what you were expecting.

My friends chicken rice soup was good . My chicken noodle soup broth had a strong over power big flavor of carrot which again took away from the enjoyment but the soup was hot and otherwise was good .

It wasn’t too busy but the waitress didn’t come by much and when she did it took a long time to bring back anything we asked for like a refill of water or drink .

But they were still pleasant and the place was clean and they think other dishes prob are better. I’m willing...

I regret having to give this restaurant a bad review because for years it was a great place. It’s Friday night and I went in to place a togo fish and chips dinner. The “ young lady” at the register was unbelievable rude. She gave me the wrong order then decided to be rude about it. She acted as if I wasn’t patient which is crazy. She left me with my sides and never said what was going on so I asked her. Instead of the normal sorry mam… they are making your order… it will be a fee minutes… I got the I am not dealing with ppl without patience… the kitchen is busy… blah… blah… blah! She was ridiculous and should not be dealing with customers since she has a chip on her shoulder. I actually was just wasting time getting food because I had an appt next door and I was early. This lady had the whole place looking at us. I asked for a refund and left. Rude...
