Original Buscemi's — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I am updating my review from many years ago. Buscemi's has lost my years of excellent business. The old crone who has worked at this location for centuries wants to charge their credit card swipe fee on the customer. This is illegal. If something is $1.00 or under, she wants to charge you their fee. I witnessed her giving a young man a very hard time over a 99 cent Arizona tea. He only had his debit card. "Don't you have a dollar? We pay that cost." Any other business in my entire 52 years has NEVER done this. I also must say the only one there who does this is her. I have news for you Buscemis. Don't sell the product if it means ripping off your customers. She was so very unprofessional, loud, deliberately loud so EVERYONE could hear, and making that young man embarrassed. This used to be our go too pizza place everything always fresh and hot. In the past few months not sure if owners changed or new partner quality went down hill and they let things sit way to long. Went on Friday the older woman with accent was pretty rude. I asked for fresh slices and she said I needed to take those 2 which had been sitting for an hour or more from looks of it and then gave me once fresh. I looked puzzled and she goes we need to sell whatever is oldest. I have never gotten this answer from anyone in 15 years. Also seems like they are trying to get once more slice of pizzas with the slices being much smaller. Dough also tasted a little off the wrong was flatter with zero puff in the crust. Pizza is always great! There’s a newer guy working the pizza counter. I don’t know his name but he’s short with dark hair. Tonight was my 3rd encounter with him. He’s very rude! He stands by the pizza oven and expects you to holler your order. Imo he should approach the counter this way we both hear and the customer doesn’t have to say the order 3 times. One evening I came in with my daughter (5) at the time she decided she needed a drink after i had all the food and sauces in hand. We walk to the back corner where juice is stored while trying to get her juice i accidentally dropped a pizza sauce. This short guy with dark hair acted upset didn’t offer to help in anyway.
