Planet burger — Restaurant in Clinton Township

This is gonna be a detailed review. This place has only been open a couple of weeks. But I think they're doing a great job so far! If you're looking for a place to sit down and eat, it might be tricky, as they only have 2 tables to sit at. The service was wonderful. The lady that helped us was very friendly and open and honest. We ordered a single cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger. We got a large drink and an order of waffle fries. We couldn't believe the total. We paid less than $18 for all of it!!! It was a great deal! We got the food home and we have some feedback. The burgers themselves were REALLY good. The beef tasted awesome. Nicely seasoned. The toppings weren't sparse either. My only quip would be to use a smaller bun on the single cheeseburger. The patty itself was awesome but was kind of overwhelmed by the bun. The bun was huge... However the bun worked well for the double that I had, and I imagine for the other larger burgers that they had there. We got the waffle fries and they also were very good. They weren't cooked quite as much as my wife would have liked. She likes her fries crispy. The flavor of the fries was awesome tho. They also threw in some coleslaw as well to try. Sweet baby Jesus, this place is out of this WORLD!! I visited after seeing a positive food review and finding out this incredible little mom and pop shop is right next to my apartment, and I tried their burger and fry special, and are you KIDDING me??? Why on earth did I go to McDonalds every month for “convenience” when this gem was nearby?! Stop in and try their food, you will NOT regret it!!! There’s a reason why they’ve been selling out lately— the food is high-quality and fresh, the veggies add the perfect crispy texture, the bun is a scrumptious combination of soft and sturdy (and it’s not dry at all), the meat is juicy, the fries are perfectly seasoned and are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside… ALL FOR LESS THAN $10. I stopped in and got their Cheeseburger and Fries special for $8. The cheeseburger came with the traditional toppings and the fries were shoe strong cut.

For being a basic cheeseburger, it was pretty good. I have nothing bad to say about it. I could each a few of those, although one was plenty. The Fries, also being basic, were good as well. They had the nice balance of being crispy, yet soft. I ate them without any sort of dipping sauce and thought they were perfectly fine.

they have a pretty big selection of things to choose from on their menu. I will need more visits to try out many of their other offerings, but for this first visit, I was very Satisfied. Very good quality food and very reasonable prices.
