Wendy's — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I do not think I have ever written a bad review, but there’s a first for everything. Let me start off by saying I love Wendy’s it is always a go to for me if I have to eat fast food because I genuinely feel like overall the food is good and the prices are affordable with today’s situations. So note this is strictly a location issue in my personal opinion. Almost every single time I have ordered here something goes wrong. And I order the same thing every time. A biggie bag and spicy nuggets. When it’s something simple like giving me regular nuggets over spicy I don’t complain because it’s very small. But it’s never just that. More than 5 times in the last 3 months I have had plain burgers come out with everything on them, and by time I get a replacement burger my fries and nuggets are cold. So today to try to combat the issue instead of doing drive through I decided to go in and place my order. I also thought (as someone who has done fast food before) it could maybe be an issue on how tickets were read for the biggie bags, so instead I ordered a Son of a Baconator Meal (which would have less toppings to remove to make plain AND would prove my previous theory right or wrong) and to no surprise, even though I had verbally clarified at least twice at the counter and double checked the screen “cheese, and ketchup, NO MAYO”. My order still came out wrong. And again, even though my burger wasn’t remade fresh and I just asked for a replacement of the top half, I waited so long my fries and nuggets became cold, yuck. I would like to add that as I was waiting I could overhear an employee begging to leave her shift early …. Meanwhile her poor coworker was not only running drive through alone, he also seemed to be picking up her slack too (from what I can see from the counter)…..This is not a company issue this is a location issue. I am sure there are many different factors here. Underpaid/overworked staff, poor hiring processes, poor work ethics…. Ect. But to the Wendy’s on Garfield and 19 DO...

I only gave us three stars because although sometimes I get wonderful service and good food ...most of the times I’ve been there (at least 15 times) there has been awful service ranging to pretty good .

However, if the review was solely based on the new management I would give it five stars. JESSICA THE MANAGER CURRENTLY IS AWESOME, is very professional and does a great job, can’t say the same for the company and at previous times the cooks and other employees. 1 STAR REVIEW FOR HALF THE TIMES IVE BEEN THERE, always different employees!!

Seems to me the issue remains with upper management (or owner) whoever selects the managers there for reflecting on the employees, and how well they do, or possibly it’s just that they do not pay their employees well enough or care enough to have them do a decent job .

Five stars for a select few, ESPECIALLY Jessica (new manager) and couple times here n there.

The last 3-4 times i went here they got my order wrong.I ordered 2 sausage egg cheese biscuit,And when i got home both were sausage biscuits,no cheese or egg.There was no one in line so i dont know how you get a simple order with 2 items and no line wrong,its just blatant they dont care,they need to hire people who like their job, out of 4 trips they got it wrong twice.they dont care and then wendys has the nerve to want the receipt and the food back to make the order right,What a rip off the employees dont care about doing their job and wendys punishes the customer by wanting more from the customer in order to fix a wrong order instead of making sure their lazy,rude employees focus on getting orders right!!!!!These fast food places are terrible now read reviews and go to a place where they care about doing what they get paid to do.This is one of the worst wendys i have been to when it comes to getting orders right.the manager needs to make sure orders are correct instead of charging people for food they dont...
