RUDE, should have explained the fact wontons I wanted which was told to her only cream cheese. I got two sets of spinach and I'm was not aware of what the Crabb Ragoon was.... and so therefore, because they've been there for over 15 years + was bragging, needed to learn a little bit more what did she say what did she need to do when she needs to reevaluate how to deal with a customer service problem. However, the young lady did not want to take the time out to explain to me that there was the two different kinds. On their menu! In a situation like that a restaurant especially a manager, should have made the customer happy by explaining; everybody makes mistakes and that they would make the crab rangoons for me but that was not an option. Therefore our money was giving back . I already prepared our order by calling. So therefore we DID wait for these things to be made and I'm sure that my SUOER WILL be cold when I get home. What does most people do in this situation? I went next door to Taco Bell and got two orders OF they're wonderful Delights. This is a review that some people can take in one ear and out the other but, common courtesy especially in a business is starting to down slide,...
Read moreChina Inn is my absolute favorite Chinese Restaurant in East Tennessee. I've eaten at fancier places and they just do not compare. China Inn has the best General Tso's Chicken I've ever had. No one else even comes close to tasting as good as China Inn's General Tso. If you are eating the buffet, not only will your food be fresh, but it will also be the best deal in town. Their prices can't be beat. Other buffets have a bigger selection to choose from, but again, the food isn't as good as China Inn's and you will pay about $5 more for your meal. I don't like to eat at other Chinese places because I know China Inn is better. I recently tried a very popular Chinese restaurant in Oak Ridge and it was ok, but not as good as the Inn. The next day we went to China Inn and ordered the same meals and it was literally $10 cheaper. I've eaten at China Inn for over 20 years. And they have always been the best! If you want Chinese food in Clinton, don't waste your money at Mr. Wok or whatever other place will pop up over the years, just go...
Read moreWhat an absolutely pleasant surprise to find such good food in an unsuspecting location. I never thought of myself as a Chinese food snob but that's what I have turned into. Most Chinese food that I encounter in this area is average. The buffet food at the China Inn today was hot, fresh and flavorful. Whoever is cooking there knows what they are doing. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was amazing and the chicken wings were spot on. Everything I tried had very good flavor including the fried rice. That is a big compliment in and of itself. In my opinion, it is rare to find fried rice with good flavor.
My overwhelmingly positive experience was also surprising due to the fact that this was mid afternoon when it wasn't a peak time for customers to be coming in.
I will definitely go again even though it is not in my immediate area and I highly recommend the China Inn to those who want to try decent Chinese food at a very reasonable price. It is...
