New Orleans Grill — Restaurant in Clinton

Called In a to go order at Nawlin’s Grill in Clinton. Gave them my card and she handed the cc machine so I could add the tip. No tip… you are handing this out the window. I thought to myself boy that was high. Started looking at the ticket, my order should have been $12.00 I got the basket. I did ask if I could sub. A dinner salad in place of the cold slaw; No problem. Mine was $18.50. I told them I was charged wrong; the girl said I up graded you to the meal because you wanted the salad. I reminded her about the substitute for the salad and she said she gave me extra fish. Well I didn’t want extra fish and I didn’t order the dinner. Plus you added a $3.00 tip for handing this out the window. (Remember she asked for an additional tip too). She said please wait a minute. The next thing you know the owner was handing me a salad out the window. THEY FORGOT THE SALAD! Get home- open up the box and my fried fish and French fries are one big mushy blob! I just stopped in to get some gumbo and I wanted to try the pasta out. I just got served some Ramen noodles with shrimp in it!!! It had to be,you know how the noodle season pack be so salty you only use half the pack,well the so called pasta was so salty I could only go to bed knowing my blood pressure instantly went through the roof!!! Then it’s called shrimp Alfredo and there was no sauce period just Ramen noodles and shrimp…carrying the Nawlins name that pasta was a disservice!!!! That’s emergency room...

This place is great. We were traveling through the area and decided to stop here. Everyone was satisfied, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing as well. We ended up staying a bit past close, yet they did not rush us out even though they had closed already.
