Sweet Mae’s is WONDERFUL.

I have been to Sweet Mae's in Clinton, IL, multiple times, and each time it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in today, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The selection of treats was incredible. I couldn't resist buying their cupcakes and trying an apple pie ice cream cone.

I took the cupcakes home to split with my wife. The chocolate cupcake was rich and very chocolaty. The strawberry cupcake was a perfect strawberry flavor and delicious. Their texture was moist and fluffy. The icing was the best.

On site, I ate an apple pie ice cream cone! That flavor matched mom’s apple pie.

But what truly made my visit memorable was the exceptional service provided by Missy. Her pleasant demeanor and hospitable nature was great. Her genuine enthusiasm for the treats they offer was infectious.

I can't recommend Sweet Mae's highly enough. The combination of delicious treats and Missy's top-notch service created an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Clinton, IL, a visit to Sweet Mae's is a must! You won't be disappointed. Five stars...

Fantastic ice cream!! Made with all real ingredients! They have a lot of great choices, and they rotate flavors every week. The waffle cones are excellent!! Owners are great people and are trying very hard to have a clean and fun establishment. Most of the workers are high school kids, and they do a great job taking care of the customers. Right on the square in Clinton, so it is easy to get to, and there are plenty of parking places. They also have homemade cookies and candy. It is like stepping back in time. Well worth a trip for a sweet treat and a relaxing...

Clinton is pretty lucky to have a great little ice cream shop like this! Stopped by tonight for the first time. I’m definitely going back to check out more flavors. I enjoyed the mint chocolate chip. One of the best I’ve ever had. But, I also love butter pecan, so of course I had to take some of that home for another day. Melissa talked me into a homemade cookie as well. It didn’t disappoint.
