It was my first time at the Clinton location. We went in to order because the phone was busy. I tried calling again after I was back at my friends place with our food. The phone was busy or just not answered then. What I ordered was correct on the receipt but what I received in my sub was not what I ordered. I had eaten at the Maynard location hundreds of times before it burned down. They always got my order right and the large subs weighed substantially more. The quality of food and employees has gone downhill at all of locations since the owners never seem to be at the restaurants. I also go to their Hudson and Acton restaurants. Acton is the best location. Hudson often messes up my orders but my one experience in Clinton so far has been the worst. I would still go there instead of going to a Subway. I will just unwrap my order and check it before I leave the restaurant. I still might drive to a different location because the large sub I got didn't weigh that much...
Read moreI have visited there a few times. Although good and tasty, the Pizza crust is very thin and falls apart when you try to pick up a slice. The grinders have good ingredients, but they don’t know how to make a grinder. They should be layering the meats instead of piling everything on forcing you to use a fork to eat. The burritos are very tasty. Again, they just don’t know how to put them together. The tortilla is half as think as normal tortilla. Again, needed a fork to eat. This is not a burrito!
All in all , ingredients are top notch here. They just don’t know how to assemble them, no matter what the dish!
Update December 23, 2021 Since Breakaway billiards has a window to order from, my friend and I tried the pizza again. Simple pepperoni. Salty as hell. We complained and learned they salt their cheese, salt their sauce and then salt the overall pizza! Was terrible! Where are their heads at?
I don’t plan...
Read moreThe Clinton location is a dangerous place to eat. There is a practically invisible step down from the parking lot to the door of the restaurant. I recently took a tumble there and sprained my ankle big time .
When I hobbled inside to ask for help, the "manager" said he was too busy making pizza! I called my boyfriend to come help me - we left my number for a call back from the owner. That was Saturday at lunch time. Haven't heard anything since. The manager's parting comment was "it's not broken". Luckily, the X-rays proved that true. But it is a serious enough sprain I was prescribed Vicodin.
Just about everyone who hears the story says either they or someone they know has tripped or fallen down that step too. Something should be done about it. The attitude at Lando's is pretty unbelievable.
Plenty of other places to get good pizza in town - buy your pizza from...
