Truthfully, I wept a little in joy. I wouldāve sold my third eye to find this gem of a coffee shop years ago. Iām glad youāre here now Melody Maker š Zac is the best! Staff are great too.
I usually hang out here to get heckled by the owner, but as it turns out, the food and coffee are actually delicious - they have vegan options!! š±
The Lattes are better than big chain coffee shops and a bagel with cream cheese is delish. Not to mention, thereās guitars and gear to play with. Dream come true for us hungry musicians!
I used to go to their first location on Water St which was great too, but the Main St location has been a fantastic expansion. But most importantly, they kept the hilarious sign!!
The overall energy this place emits is coziness and creativity. As a creative myself, I feel so inspired whenever I step foot in here. Everyone is super friendly and Iāve met so many kind people. Itās a unique place.
Well Melody Maker, youāve successfully caught me, hook, line, and sinkah!
And they use COMPOSTABLE coffee cups!! I canāt think of many coffee places that actually do that?! Can I get a HELL YEAH!!!! Eat your heart out, Starbucks! MELODY MAKER kicks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a cool place! I stopped in at the old location one day for a sandwich, because the sign outside read "Best Bagels in Town".
And they aren't kidding. Bagel sandwiches are awesome, and the coffee rocks, too.
The atmosphere is very relaxing, and I'm always greeted with a smile from the employees (and sometimes even from Zack, the owner. Lol, just kidding--you're awesome, Zack!).
If you go for no other reason, go to read the tip-cups--they always have several out with different signs, which are always entertaining and put a smile on my face.
You can even "spin the wheel" and possibly win a free coffee š But beware, you might win "prank call someone", like i did š
Great people, great food, great place. You will feel so refreshed when you leave. Try them once, and you might become a regular like I did.
If you are vegan, they got you! I am not, but Zack just told me about his vegan menu.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked into Melody Maker for an iced mocha and left wondering if Iād accidentally stepped into a dream curated by a design-savvy barista with a PhD in hospitality. The coffee? Incredibly deliciousālike the beans went to finishing school and learned how to charm you. The atmosphere? Warm enough to make you want to cancel your plans and move in. Every detail is so thoughtfully consideredāfrom the soft glow of the lighting to the warm wood tones of the stools and bar that whisper ārelaxā in a very classy voice--almost looks like a movie set.
Housed in a historic brick factory building with soaring cathedral ceilings, it somehow feels both grand and cozy. And if youāre used to mid service elsewhere, prepare to have your standards permanently raised. Melody Maker isnāt just a cafĆ©āitās a full-on experience, and Iām already...
