On a rainy Wednesday, my friend and I sought refuge in this cozy restaurant for lunch, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Our meal consisted of the 'Avocado Bomb,' the 'Super Duper Roll,' and 'Seafood Udon,' each dish leaving a memorable impression.

The 'Avocado Bomb,' a special appetizer created by the chef, was a true highlight. It featured a slightly spicy kick that perfectly whetted our appetites. This innovative dish set a high bar for the rest of our meal. The 'Super Duper Roll' lived up to its name and then some. Among the tempting array of rolls on the menu, this one stood out, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The 'Seafood Udon' was a comforting and hearty choice, especially suited for a rainy day. Its rich broth and generous portions of seafood made it the perfect dish to warm up with.

Very expensive for the portions and the quality. Miso soup is way too salty and no tofu in it. Got charged 3 dollars for a cup of hot tea. (The owner made it seem like it was complementary.) The sushi did not taste fresh at all. It was odd that there were literally no customers during peak lunch hour. The wait time for the food was really long, too. The owner was the server, the chef, the cashier, the cleaner and also taking phone calls in between. The food prep process didn't seem too hygienic, as he was doing everything by himself, and not cleaning his hands in between the different roles he was taking. If the food was good, I'd still be happy, but honestly it was sub par. Salty and not fresh. The menu was also very limited. They crossed out several items from the menu, like the teriyakis and the lunch boxes. Honestly, feel like the business is going under already, and he is just trying to rip off of those naive customers who visit for the first time, as he knows they won't be...

My family and I found this place by happenstance. My sister randomly chose this spot on Google Maps and since we tried it — I don't think I could go to another sushi place in the area again!

• The homey atmosphere adds to the friendliness and it is very clean and nicely designed.

• The sushi always tastes fresh, flavorful and clean. There's a real difference in comparison to other places.

• I do feel that they care about the quality of the food. Whether it comes to making sure that the fish is fresh, each dish is sliced so neatly and plated with care. This really adds to the overall energy and makes me feel assured as a customer.

In addition to the quality, what keeps me coming back is feeling welcomed. I'm very happy to come back again and again to support this local joint! This place is such a gem that I always recommend everyone I know here.
