We loved our visit to LJS and A&W! The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The store was clean and the atmosphere was great too! We got the meal quickly without any real wait, and we were very pleased with the quality of the food. My one complaint is that it was a bit more expensive than I expected, but when you have good service and good food it comes with a cost. I will return to the store as I was pleased with the experience. I had not had LJS in years and it was just like I remember it being when I was a kid.

A friend and myself decided one day to drive 90 miles to a Long Johns. Haven't eaten there in prob 10 years. Everything tasted exactly the same, which is a good thing. I think the workers behind the counter were the owners, very friendly and helpful. Honestly totally worth the trip and can't wait for the one to open in Amarillo. I credit myself for the one opening back up in Amarillo. 🤣🤣 Was only a few days after Clovis they were coming to Amarillo. I'm going to HEB next, fingers crossed.

I won’t buy fish here at this location, I bought a fish and shrimp platter and the shrimp and fish were soaked with oil, disgusting 🤮 I am not sure if this location is under new management because before it used to be clean and the food was great. The store looked dirty. I won’t go back here anymore. I hope that the owner read this so something is done about it. I love the fish and shrimp here at Long John Silver, but I don’t appreciate the food all greased.

Being truck drivers I was so excited when I found this place. We are able to pull over and run in. So when we delivered our load that next morning I was really excited because they were open. When I got to the door it was locked 20 minutes after opening. The lady looked at me and finally opened the door. We ordered a 12-piece family meal, a bunch of shrimp, cheese curds. I was so disappointed the fish was undercooked with slimy batter on the inside. But chicken and shrimp were cooked and tasted like old grease. Cheese curds cold. Mac n cheese cold. The corn was place in bag sideways, so it spilled everywhere and made huge mess of butter. The hush puppies were like biting crunchy air pockets. Not soft inside at all. We pay way too much for food now days and work too hard for it to be thrown away and had to go someplace else to eat. Waisted $60.00 on this garbage. If I could I would give...

The food isn't bad, honestly what kind of drives me crazy is the condition of the building. It looks dirty all the time and outdated. It needs some pressure washing and fresh paint. You can see through the drive-thru window and it looks like they have oil build up in their kitchen. Even their drive-thru menu/speaker box needs to be updated. I think if they don't update soon they will be the next to leave Clovis in my opinion.

The wait times can be pretty long and the parking lot is torn to shreds with genuinely unavoidable potholes. Also, they'll basically always cut you off when ordering your sides; there's been a number of times when I've started ordering my sides only to be interrupted with "we'll have your total at the window," and had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for my food because they stopped listening to the ordering mic, forcing me to finish my order at the window.
