Salty Mermaid Cajun Boil — Restaurant in Clovis

Let me start off by saying the atmosphere here in sooo nice. We sat in the bar area, lighting is low and cozy. Very welcoming. Oldies softly playing in the background … I personally LOVE the decor. Our server was Isabel (or Isabella) she was amazing. The chef came to our table to ask how food was, I only had a salad but hubby had the boil and he said it was good (not omg this is amazing, but pretty good). Price are affordable. I hope this place makes it, it’s such a cute restaurant. Hopefully they get more non seafood menu options for us weirdos who do not like seafood but want to enjoy a seafood vibe. Or in my case , husband who loves seafood so I just tag along.

Also didn’t see a kid’s menu but those may be separate as we didn’t have our kiddos with us. However In the future we’d like to let our kids play in the arcade while we sit at the bar, definitely a family friendly restaurant . You can see the time and love put into this place.

Full on honest review I love a good boil do I was very excited to try this new place It is hard to find It is inside of the fun center /arcade building Maybe signage on the door ? It is decorated fun and it looks nice We got seated quickly as they were not very busy (kinda worried me on a Friday night). The staff was pretty good and got our order pretty quick When our food came (the shrimp boil add sausage ) it looked good The potatoes and corn were slightly (in my opinion) over cooked. I asked for spicy and the spice was in a cup for me to add not what I normally would expect The shrimp were smaller than I am accustomed to seeing in a boil but they were cooked right and there was plenty of them. This place is like no other in this area. The Pub style atmosphere is so dang cool. Mostly English Pub setup but with a little Americano subtlety. The boils, hot wings and the hamburgers are off the hook. They are set up anyway you enjoy them. The burgers are handmade and not frozen. Plain, cheese, bacon and green chile for your burgers. The menu may seem small but the portions are very satisfying. The staff is welcoming, happy and always ready to make your evening enjoyable. They have a restaurant for those date nights and for families. Open tables for large groups or gatherings for party's.
