The customer service at this place is horrible. If I could give it zero stars I would. My 11 year old cousin went in the other day to pick up our mobile order - which was wrong. They made lattes when we had ordered frapps. My cousin told the barista who then went off on my cousin yelling at her saying she “does this all the time” and informing her she needs to bring in the app next time blah, blah, blah. I’m assuming she thought my cousin was some kid who tries to come in all the time and trick them into making free drinks. However, that was my cousins first time in that Starbucks! Secondly, they should never EVER speak to a child like that especially one who’s on their own with no adult supervision.
Then, we had done another mobile order last night. We get to the Starbucks and see that the lobby is closed and it’s drive thru only. That would have be fine except we didn’t have a car with us. We rode scooters over there. Furthermore, the app didn’t indicate that the lobby was closed. Had it, we wouldn’t have ordered from there. We started knocking on the door hoping someone would come to the door so we could explain the situation. Instead we were just given attitude. The employees inside just kept shaking their head and fingers saying “no.” We tried multiple times to get their attention as we kept trying to tell them “we don’t have a car. We can’t go through the drive thru. Can you just leave the drinks at the door?” But each time they’d just say no and then ignore us and walk away. About 10 minutes later they came outside asking if we had a mobile order and apologized because their lobby is closed. The apology would have been fine if they didn’t ignore us the multiple times before because we kept trying to tel them we had a mobile order and couldn’t use the drive thru. Also keep in mind, this was at 9 and they close at 10. They had plenty of time to keep the lobby open. We were also informed by another Starbucks location that they are supposed to open the doors in this particular situation. When we started explaining to the employee who gave us our drink the whole situation she just kept saying sorry and then told us she was just really busy making orders because she had two employees call off???? Im sorry? She was literally mopping the whole time!!! This entire situation would have been avoided if they just came to the door to see what we were...
Read moreSaw an advertisement earlier that morning for cold brew and cold cream on Facebook and it looked delicious. So, it persueded me me to treat myself and my son to a morning cafe drink, getting us of the house, although we didn't order what inspired me to go. This cafe is always busy, however the cafe dining room wasn't packed, but the drive thru was hopping. Had a choice of tables and the baristas we're quick and attentive in taking our order. The business of the drive thru made the drinks take a little longer than usual to come out, but my order was received error free, and thus I and my son enjoyed our crafted bevs. Early Sunday mornings will be my preferred time to go from now on, and I recommend you go then too; you'll beat the after-church rush. When I start taking online classes, I will definitily be utilizing that time to work on homework as I will be drinking coffee, and love the cafe buzz atmosphere...
Read moreWhat to say about this Starbucks on the corner of Jackson and Avenue 48. Those who complain about the customer service here have just never worked in customer service before. They have no idea what it’s like to serve customers all day. It is very easy for them to complain but be sure if they were in the employee’s positions, they would not know what to do. At ease, it’s just coffee. If you are that focused on your money - don’t spend it. I go to this location on a regular basis and many of the employees know me by name. I walk in and am greeted by multiple people at once because I also greet them. You get what you give. You attract what you are. This store is absolutely no different than any other store in America.
