Taco Bell — Restaurant in Coal Run Village

I initially wrote a review for Taco Bell, around 5 months ago and had given it 1 star and didn't really have anything encouraging to say.

So, like with any other bad review, over some time, I try it out and see if anything has changed, or if anyone has even listened.

I went back to Taco Bell and honestly, was hoping for the best. For my friends and I, years and years ago, Taco Bell was the place we visited more often than any other place.

As of my visit 5 months ago, there was nothing to impress. The quality was terrible, the portions were to small and service was mediocre at best. But, things can change for the better and I went this time hoping a change for the better.

Let me get the good part out of the way here. The people who took my order and gave me the food through the window, were extremely nice. They were easy to talk to, helpful and had smiles for days. That was a big change for me.

Okay, now the rest. All the things I picked at the last time (other than the service) still remain. The food, at the very best, was warmish. The portions so small, I would have been embarrassed to give to someone. Especially the hard shell tacos. I even had them supreme them for me and what I got was little to no meat, a couple bits of tomato, tons of lettuce, with a lot of sour cream and a bit of cheese. All I could taste was the lettuce and sour cream, not enough meat to make a difference.

The burrito had a lot of everything, except meat. I mean, I love all the stuff that comes on burritos, but it should have complimented the meat, instead of overpowering it. There wasn't enough meat to make a difference.

The crunch wrap was even worse (I think that's what it is called). Not only was there very little meat, there was very little of anything, not to mention all of the stuff inside, was on one side of the wrap. Half the wrap was empty and hard.

These things combined with the warmth of the meal (Calling it warm is really overdoing it) made for a miserable dinner. If I were owner/operator of the Taco Bell here, I would be ashamed at the amount, the quality and lack of heat. It really was terrible and then I had to live with the remorse, that I took my money and basically tossed it out the window.

I do not recommend this Taco Bell at all. At most, if you and your friends are partying late, I guess it would be okay as drunk food.

I will go months without eating at this store in hopes they they sort out their issues. Time and time again I will get a grilled stuffed burrito but what is it stuffed with? Sour cream. Every time. I had barely 5 pieces of steak in the burrito I bought today and only got one due to my Fiance wanting the new PS4 Destiny bundle box. I do not understand how that store will consistently short customers on the meats and provide an overall terrible product. I have eaten at other Taco Bell's that do not overload on the meat and its a great product. I will continuously refer my friends away from this restaurant from this point forward. I work in the pizza industry and I would equate this to having 5 pepperoni's on a large pizza. Would you be satisfied with 5 of the 42 pepperonis that come on your pizza? Any person who eats at this Taco Bell will receive the equivalent. I know that I have not been trained by taco bell and do not have the expertise that your employees possess but I am sure there is a better way to make a burrito than to put the sour cream on the end, the re-fried beans in the middle, the guacamole on the opposite end and sprinkle the meat of your choice over the before stated ingredients. If this is revolutionary news, I would be more than happy to put in my resume to take over as store manager...

This is the worst taco bell of all time i have to drive 30 minutes to go to an actual good taco bell. They close early around 11:30 every night and ignore their customers because i can see them in there. They constantly mess up their orders and always put way too much sauce and not enough food substance. Their machines are always breaking or they are always running out of a product. I have worked in fast food for four years, and i have never seen a restaurant run so poorly. The only reason this place makes a profit is because no one else wants to drive 25 miles away to another taco bell. I hope taco bell corporate will fix this problem or at least take there name off the building because this is pathetic, and has been going...
