Bob Evans — Restaurant in Coal Run Village

Tried the Bob Evans in Pikeville. Had to use the bathroom first. Urine all over and nothing clean. Ordered food from their menu. They advertise loaded potatoes for sour cream. Yet they have no sour cream in stock. They advertise chicken-n-noodles and yet have none available. They also were also out of scallions. We were served drinks in paper cups not because of COVID protocol but because they were waiting for clean cups from the kitchen. Then they refilled the same cups frequently at the drink station once again ignoring COVID protocol. The manager is appalled and holds a meeting with the staff. Later on we find a hair in my brother's food.

Our waitress was Melody. She was very condescending at the start of this visit. Didn't even say hello. Just walked up and was like "What do you want to drink." We witnessed another table with a different waiter when they asked for a cup of soup. When they forgot the soup, the patron then decided she didn't want any. Then the waiter stated "I'm sorry, but it wasn't very good anyway."

Servers were switched out. Then the new server gave us a death stare most of the visit. I rarely place 1 star reviews but if this one could have been worse...

I gave a 3 star review due to the following .. the bacon came out raw (literally was barely warmed on each side with a raw pink color) and when asked could they cook it, it was brought back out nearly petrified on 1 meal (all 3 slices were very different in color) another meal had hair in the strawberry pancakes, my blueberry pancakes were raw in the middle, we ordered desserts for 3 kids meals and 1 adult meal. The adult dessert requested strawberry pie, advertised on the sign outside and all inside the store; they came back to the table to say they were out of stock yet still tried to charge us for something we never received and overcharged us for the kids meal with hair in the strawberry pancakes yet brought out strawberry pie to the table who was seated behind us shortly before we left.

It took 2 attempts with different people to fix the errors on the ticket issue. Nearly $20 for my meal with a drink that 50% of was inedible. I get errors may happen BUT they seemed fully staffed AND the dining room wasn't even full. Poor food quality & poor customer service. The good parts of our visit was it was cool inside and the...

We love eating at Bob Evans, but after eating at the pikeville ky one its going to be a long time before I will be able to eat at one again.We ordered our favorite breakfast meal of eggs,sausage,home fries and pancakes..when our meal arrived the first thing I noticed was I had like 8-10 home fries was it, really not a big deal until I ate one and they were hard and not hot at all, the eggs had no taste at all, we ask for butter for our pancakes and she brought out some in a bowl that had cheese sause or something all over it, the first bite into my husband's pancakes and there was something blue in it, nothing like a blueberry or anything..finally after asking for a drink refill my glass had something light brown running down the glass...that's when we just got up payed and left our full plates...I hate that this has made it to were it will be a long time before I will ever want bob evans again and not the pikeville one ever...
