Complete disappointment. I ordered a cake tasting and it was amazing. Was told 2-tier cakes starts at $180 but when I received the 2 page next steps info... the price margin jumped to $500.00 with a non-refundable deposit of $250.00. In the midst of clarifying and trying to move forward so the deposit made sense, I was told they were no longer available for my date. No courtesy that this was even a possibility as consultations are free and I had already paid for the tasting and was just clarifying stipulations/process. Cake was good. Don't get me wrong... The customer service and clarity in the process was super disappointing. When I replied upset & asked why she didn't at least give me a heads up.... she did not apologize but rather told me "ma'am you weren't a prospective client" because I hadn't been contracted. BUT they offer consultations for "free" & I paid for and had a taste test......

My husband and I hired Clever Bakery for our wedding earlier this month. It was hands-down one of the best decisions we made and working with Cynthia was phenomenal! She provided a beautiful three-tiered modern wedding cake that incorporated the theme of our wedding as well as an extensive dessert table. She was so accommodating and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The guests LOVED every single dessert - there was nothing left at the end of the night. We knew the desserts were going to be a hit when we received the cake tasting box before the wedding. Every flavor was amazing and it was difficult to choose. Cynthia is professional and the sweetest person I worked with during this process. I can’t say enough great things. My husband and I are absolutely hiring Clever Bakery for all our dessert needs...

Thank you so much Clever Bakery for creating our fabulous wedding cake. Cynthia is amazing! She is so polite and professional. We spoke over the phone, I told her our vision and budget and she worked with us. She even delivered 6 samples of different cake flavors for us to try before deciding on a flavor for our wedding. From the comfort of our home, we tried 6 unique flavors from Clever Bakery and they were all delicious and well packaged might I add. But our favorite was the red velvet, it was soft and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet, it was just perfect for our big day. As seen in the photo, our wedding cake was a beautiful 4 tier cake: 2 red velvet tiers, 1 vanilla and an invisible tier with our wedding logo. It’s been almost two weeks since our wedding and people can’t stop talking about the cake. Thank you again Cynthia! You can’t say...
