Sunset Grill (in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek) — Restaurant in Coconut Creek

Disinterested people working here. This used to be our favorite spot in the casino for music, food and drinks. We realized the Panthers NHL playoff game was on while we were in the casino. We knew the Sunset Grill had many TV screens where we could watch, so we picked a table in front of the biggest, clearest screen with the game on. It took over 30 minutes to get anyone to take our order, and we ordered drinks. We finished our drinks and again it took a long time before our waitress checked on us. While the hockey game was in the final period in a close game, the big screen we were watching the game on switched to basketball. We looked for our waitress, to ask her to put the game back on, but she was MIA, as she was the whole night. The Panthers are a local team and the basketball game that replaced it wasn't a local team. The Heat are out of the playoffs at this point, so changing to basketball made no sense at all. We were ready to leave at this point, but had to wait for our waitress again. We used to like the Sunset Grill, but our final impression now is not to bother. The level of disinterest in the employees is going to lose us...

Ordered over $125 of food for 3 people. Waited 45 min for our food and when we sat down to eat our food we were told by the the rudest power trip manager I have ever experienced we are not allowed to eat in the restaurant he has a cleanup crew coming in and we have to eat our food somewhere in the casino. We said we are starving and just want to eat real quick please, there was no clean up crew in sight. He said if you take another bit of your food I an going to call security as he grabbed a walkie talkie. In my 60 years on this Earth I have never experienced such a atrocious behavior, we ended up eating sitting on the floor in the casino area. It must be extremely hard times with staffing in order to have a person like that as a manager. We walked in happy fun laughing time to real downer bad vibes. What a horrible miserable person he was. Even his employees were apologizing for his extremely rude behavior. He truly ruined our night! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CASINO EVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS MANAGER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Drove almost an hour to visit this restaurant cause a friend recommended the Cheeseburger. Tried that and the Frisco burger. Burger was pretty nice but the Frisco bread was not pleasant. Calamari was decent as well. We got one of the featured flavored Margaritas and a Strawberry Daiquiri. Both were absolutely terrible. My bf could hardly finish his marg, it tasted like pure cheap syrupy mix and I tasted absolutely zero rum in my daiquiri, it was like water with a hint of some kind of flavor? Maybe just look into making your margs with lime juice, and agave instead cause yikes. The server was very kind but they were hard to find and service was very slow for only 3 tables in the whole place. The atmosphere? Kinda lame? Idk what to say cause with everything else scoring so low, you don't really feel any kinda way about it. It's hot outside, there's some misters but they're not really doing much.
