I had an absolutely incredible experience at Mattress Firm in Margate, FL today, and I cannot thank Joseph enough for the outstanding customer service he provided. As an 86-year-old woman, I was in search of a comfortable and adjustable bed that wouldn't break the bank, and Joseph went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect fit.

Joseph's patience and knowledge were truly remarkable. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and he never made me feel rushed or pressured. He guided me through the vast selection of beds, explaining the features and benefits of each one, which was incredibly helpful for someone like me who was new to this whole world of adjustable beds.

My husband and I purchased a mattress (delivery only on new purchases) with Rich on Saturday 5/11. He informed us during the payment process he was new there since it took about an hour to process the transaction. The interaction started with normal why-you-avoid-going-in-person sales tactics. He asked what our budget was and immediately laid us down on a mattress literally twice that. Math is hard for some people lol. We find the one we're looking for a couple tries after that. He discusses the delivery with us and asks if Monday is OK and we let him know we work typical hours (8a-5p) and have kickboxing after that on Monday so Tuesday would be the soonest and it would have to be after 5p. He checks with the other employee that has seniority over him and they say the deliveries go up til 8p, ok that's perfect. So the pitch was that the delivery people will confirm with us a 2 hour delivery window the day before (Monday). They call and tell us 10a-12p - that doesn't work. Delivery people tell us we need to call the store we bought it from. So we do that and this guy has the audacity to LIE and tell us that he had told us we wouldn't be able to pick the time. I understand to be in sales sometimes you have to be sleezy and bend the truth, but acting like your customers have dementia is another level. Avoid this place and buy online. I stopped into this location on January 25, 2024 and was promptly welcomed to the store by Stan. He was very knowledgeable about the large variety of mattresses at this location. After a short time I was able to choose one that hopefully will work for me and Stan was able to have it delivered the very next day (today). About 1-2 hours after I finalzied the purchase I received a text and email with my 2-hour delivery window for today which was 4:15-6:15. Around 4:45 I received an email AND text telling me that the driver would be at my home within 10-minutes. A few minutes later the truck arrived and 2 very nice guys brought the mattress into my bedroom, removed it from the plastic and placed it on the slats. I couldn't have asked for a better mattress buying experience. Being that the mattress was just delivered I can't leave a review YET on the comfort of the mattress but I will update this post once I've had time to "break it in". If you're in the market for a new mattress I highly recommend stopping by this Mattress Firm location and ask for Stan.
