I have never had so many issues with a store in all my years. It started on 4/29.24 when I placed an order for 3 items totaling $1655 and they were to be delivered on Wed may 1st and the grill was to be assembled. The order was late it cam on the 2nd and the grill was not assembled, event though it said "grill needs assembly" right on the proof of delivery. Next was the 11ft umbrella that was broken and the lights didn't work, so I was unable to use the umbrella for my party on that Saturday because they couldn't re-deliver one and guarantee it would come by Saturday. I called home depot on Monday May 6th again to have them refund the umbrella and come pick it up. The 1st pickup was scheduled for Wed the 8th, the guy came and said he had the wrong type of truck so they would need to send someone else. 5 consecutive days home depot said we are sending someone to pick up the umbrella no one ever came. The 6th time after speaking with Marissa and disputing the charge with my Amex, home depot again said we are sending someone to pick up the merchandise. Again no one showed up. I was told that it was because they were coming from a different store, so they scheduled it again. The 7th or 8th time a man came and again said he had the wrong kind of truck, he needed a box truck, but apparently that was never put in the notes. So my fiancée watched him type in the notes that a box truck was needed and he left. Again this all started May 8th and it is now June 18th and guess what - the umbrella still hasn't been picked up. As a result I cut up my credit card with home depot because I will never shop with them again. This has been the worst customer service experience ever and I don't understand how hard it is to send a truck to pick up a defective product. As of today 6/18, I have called yet again to let them know that they need to send a truck to get...
Read moreI have to be honest, when it comes to Home Depot I haven't historically had the best experience at at this chain in general. My trips usually consisted of me wandering throughout the store hoping to find that one small part or item with not many representatives available to help me (except their garden section that section is always awesome). In the past it usually took me a really long time to find what I'm looking for... In the past. Yesterday, however, there were two very friendly associates readily available to help me figure out the best locks for my home. I stood there in bewilderment at the crazy amount of choices for locks. Thought to myself, how is it possible to have this many options for locks? 🤯 Fortunately, two friendly associates came to my rescue. I was given tips and advice, and when one Home Depot associate didn't know the answer he consulted with his colleague to assist. When I went to check out, the cashier Carmen tried her very best to help me figure out an issue with my Home Depot Fortiva card which took about half an hour. The credit card company was having technical problems which we weren't able to resolve in the trip, but Carmen went above and beyond to do what she could do to make it work. Calling Home Depot and Fortiva. My Fortiva card still didn't work, but Carmen offered a discount for the inconvenience. Overall I would say even though I had setbacks and the ridiculously huge amount of options for locks left me dumbfounded, this was a pretty nice trip to the hardware store, where Home Depot associates take the stress out of the process of picking so I can actually get to do...
Read moreWorst Hardware store in a 20 mile radius. Do not go here for appliances particularly. The only person who has a single iota of Homedepots delivery and installation rules and regulations is Dave and unfortunately Dave wasnt the one to help me out, it was Greta (?). It's been a nightmare trying to not only get my stackable dryer, but also once I got it the delivery crew were told they had to leave it on the floor because they cant stack onto old appliances. I bought the matching washer from this very store a year previously with the intentions of purchasing said dryer about a year later and I made the dryer purchase idea very well known. Did anyone there tell me that that would be an issue? No. Did anyone tell me this on the next 12+ subsequent visits made to this homedepot where I specifically asked about any fine print or details? No. My dryer was delivered the 8th. It is still on my floor on the 18th. I've been to this store several times now, spoken to their managers, and nothing is being resolved. They dont view you as a customer here, they view you as a nuisance. I was told I'd get a call back several times, have never once received a call. Have called 7 times only to get attitude that I'm wasting their time. Only one person who has answered the phone was helpful in tracking down someone only to be told that they're in a meeting. (I believe he said his name was Dee). This place is terribly managed, horribly run, and most of the staff dont actually know anything about hardware. This place needs a serious overhaul. No wonder this particular store has such a poor rating on the BBB. It is...
