Bayside Triple M Deli — Restaurant in Colchester

Over the years I have spent a great deal of money in this store, whether food or merchandise or fuel, I have put a lot of my hard earned money into their business, but I don't think there is one time that I've been when this one woman is working, I believe she is the owner, that she has not been unbelievably rude to me. She acts as if I'm going to steal something or like I'm bugging her. I go out of my way to be extra friendly to her each time hoping that maybe if she's just having a bad day I could make it better by being very pleasant and respectful to her, but not once has that paid off. She is always very nasty to me as well as very short with me. I'm not sure why, but this woman definitely does not enjoy her job. Her attitude makes it very uncomfortable to shop there for myself and my children. Although I have had a couple encounters over the years with a gentleman that has worked there that was incredibly kind, sweet and always very friendly though, it just seems to be this one particular woman that is never very nice despite my efforts. Otherwise the store has a great selection on food and drinks and the sandwiches aren't bad either. They also make their own iced coffee cold brew and it is actually quite fantastic, I would say it's even better than most expensive...

I work around the corner from this store for a local company. We are on the road everyday and I've always made it a point to support local business and buy our Gas and snacks here. AFTER today that will no longer be the case here. I get my personal Gas at this store, go out of my way to get gas in our work vehicle, give recommendations for items, buy novelty gifts etc.. Today we went and got a fill up and I needed some rolling papers. I couldnt see the items behind these cotton cig. Filters and slid them to the side, I was immediately snapped at being told "You cant do that", "you cant do that" being treated like a theif off the corner. Very embarrassing let alone On a Sunday morning that now had started my day off like i did something wrong.

I have invested personal time to go out of my way to be friendly and helpful for this women. I have helped HER customers in middle of winter put air in tires, clean trash and just be a nice guy. I was really disappointed today. I thought this women was a friend and knew me better then she treated me today. I now can clearly see none of us "customer's" are this owners friends. Just a bunch of dumb Americans that buy up her...

The owner (woman) is NEVER friendly. My husband has mentioned the same thing on several occasions and I always feel ‘unwelcomed’ when I stop here. I probably stop 5-10 x a month and I don’t think she has ever been ‘nice’. It’s not very hard to exchange simple pleasantries or smile especially when people are spending money there. The other staff on the other hand are always kind! I will not go there anymore unless I absolutely have to, I’ll go across the street...
