Trainwreck Grill & Ale House — Restaurant in Coldwater

Unfortunately we went and wasted money there. Showed up at 5 pm after calling and trying to get a reservation which I was told no need. Then we get there and was told we needed a reservation or it would be a hour wait. So we waited and 2 hours later got seated. They took our order and an hour later gave us cold food. Absolutely nothing good about the food. I can make better food. It was not seasoned at all and their steak is based on "market price" which yesterday was $48 each. Alfredo pasta was expensive and honestly would have had more flavor if it came out of a jar. The sangria which was awful, was $8 and all the appetizers are $10 plus. Kids barely ate their food either. The crazy thing is that the entire time they had a lobby full of waiting people and there were like 8 tables open that they didn't sit anyone at. They forgot to order more kids menus and then couldn't remember what was on the kids menu so we had to buy a full size or something and split it. It was awful tbh and after everything 2 kids 2 adults was $109 and we sent back the crab dip as it tasted like rotten fish and not like crab at all. I wouldn't advise anyone to go unless they just want to waste money. I give 100% honest reviews as I want people to know how others truly feel. One of the men at the front when we asked what his favorite thing was, he said "I don't eat here" which told me way too much and I should of taken that warning like another family did and they walked out. We arrived at 6:50 pm. The hostess said 20-25 min wait we waited after about 45 mins the hostess tells us she going to clean a table off and will be right back to gwt us we watch her clean the table off she comes back doesn't say a word and starts studying her seating chart and looking awkwardly at us and another party this goes on for quite sometime at least another 20 mins finally someone else comes to take us to our table we got seated with a very nice waiter and he gave us the heads up that 15 or so orders were just placed so it may take a bit for our food..we still decided to give it a chance and placed our orders my chicken Alfredo was OK but definitely didn't have a wow factor to it .. my husband got steak Alfredo, which didn't have much sauce, and the steak was barley cooked even though he ordered it medium. He did not eat his due to the steak having a strange smell and being nearly raw. They were kind enough to take thst off the bill and offer something else, but we were already over the whole situation and waiting. We paid our bill and tipped the waiter when we left we didn't even get have a good night from the hostess thst we watched say goodbye to every party that left as we sat and waited for our table.. I definitely think the hostess could use some training in communication and the food is not really worth the price... the staff should be top notch when going into a restaurant with that atmosphere and price point .. very disappointed the only positive...

Food poisoning. After an evening of discomfort and running to the bathroom I ended up in the doctor's office today and surprise we all have food poisoning. Ruled out the bits we had eaten at home earlier yesterday and the two days prior. Had Not been out to eat for weeks. This is the culprit.🤢🤮 update 4 hours later. All three of us are experiencing stomach trouble. Tums and Pepto bismol and a lot of toilet paper. 😢😓🤢.* They do have Clean bathrooms. Nice atmosphere. Hostess was the best of all the employees spoken to. She was darling. The food was fast to come from the kitchen....however.... We got cheese curds, spinach dip, crab dip and onion petals, sides of cheesy broccoli, Mac n cheese, yellow loaded potatoes, a burger, and a melt. Of these the only thing we would get again are the pita chips intended for the dips. They are good. Everything else is awful. Cold, undercooked or over cooked. The mashed potatoes were awful. They taste like old beef broth with some shredded cheese and a blop of sour cream on them. The crab dip tastes like chicken salad. The spinach dip was edible but lackluster at best. The sandwiches were not flavorful. The cheese curds are very odd with very little flavor, they dip.for these was not too bad. Onion petals are unsalted and very greasy with doughy bits inside. Possibly be helped with a proper hot fryer? We paid over 100$ for this order 🫤 really wish we had just...
