Buzz Thru Joe's — Restaurant in Colfax

This spot used to be SO GOOD and I cannot stress that enough. I have no idea what happened!! Colfax local here. Customer service was awful, lady at the counter does not want to work here, she made that clear. Food was gross. Bagels tasted old/off. We had to re-toast them both when we got home. There was way too much cream cheese. The donut I got was iced in gel? Like the gel icing you use to ice sugar cookies with on Halloween that tastes like plastic? It wasn’t frosting, it was gel… I’ve never ever seen any donut place use that kind of gel icing on a donut, I actually laughed when I opened the bag because it looked and smelled so bad, I thought my partner was playing a trick on me. Both coffee we got taste like whole milk, I’m not sure if other ingredients were forgotten, all we could taste was milk. We wasted $30, I had to throw it all away it was inedible. I’m still in shock and disbelief because I swear this place used to be so so good. We unfortunately will not be back unless they experience new management or new staff. It's okay. The drinks are better than the food. older lady taking my order could not understand the concept of a cold sandwich. Told her several times did not want it heated and she kept asking why. I told her I wanted a cold ham and cheese. she said she wanted to get it right and understand I wanted it cold. I said yes, do not heat it ,I want it cold she still served me a hot sandwich. When I asked why she hated it when I said cold she replied, the bread is hard so I have to make it soft. I assume that means she's serving stale bread and needs to warm it to make it soft again. Sorry to give a bad review but if you can't understand hot or cold you shouldn't be in the food industry. or have fresh bread so you can serve a fresh soft...

Gone down hill. The service and quality of food isn’t the same 😢. The lady that took over made my order wrong. I told her hey it’s ok no worries. I’m in a rush if you could just refund the one bagel. My total was $25 for 2 bagels and a smoothie. Well, she said she dosnt give refunds. Made me wait when I politely said I can’t and don’t worry about it. I was ready to write it off and move on. Anyway when we drove off my daughter found a HAIR in her bagle. I called her and got yelled at by the lady. I’m a very respectful person and I don’t think I deserved that for her mistakes. Plus the bagels tasted like Tomas bagels from Safeway why is she charging so much. She seems more worried about money then quality...
