I realized after they ran my card that they included a tip even though we were picking up an order to go. The issue is someone taking our card and putting their preferred tip amount on it. I was not paying attention, as I would have asked that they remove the extra charge from my card because I prefer tipping in cash.
We always tip. In fact, we started tipping fast food workers because this pandemic and ever-changing economy has been rough on everyone. We take that into consideration and provide cash tips to anyone and everyone who serves us.
When I spoke with the manager today he said, âin this area, this is a common practice to charge a 12% tip.â I do not believe that. Besides, in any area, one should not charge a tip without the card ownerâs permission. There was nothing posted, I was not asked, I was not informed.
I do feel insulted by his subliminal accusation.
Also, do not let them stack your food 3-4 dinners high. When we arrived home all of the juices were in the bottom of the plastic bags, leaving us with dried ânoodlesâ.
The food used to be better as I have been coming here for decades, but I understand the reason I no longer see familiar faces is because the old owner sold it. I still have a preferred appetizer, and a preferred entree. They should, however, improve the rice as it has...

My review is based on a delivery order.
I ordered : Yum Yum Shrimp Korean Bulgogi BBQ with Chicken Wonton Skin Small House Salad
What I received: Yum Yum Shrimp Korean Bulgogi BBQ with Chicken Wonton Skin Fried Calamari
Although I wanted the salad, I was not mad that I received the Fried Calamari, so I didn't ask for a refund. Their mix-up.
Yun Yum Shrimp was so good. It was hard not to eat it in entirety from the start. The sauce was perfect.
Korean Bulgogi I requested chicken for my protein and added broccoli and onions. It already came with carrots and onions. The portion size is 12-14 ounces. Very large. So large I ate it at two different settings. It also comes with some fresh jasmine rice. The dish was very tasty. I like how they cut the chicken breast. On a bias and not chunks. Very nice.
Fried Calamari. An ample portion to share. I shared it with my daughter. The plum sauce was very nice, and it tasted seasoned. Not bland.
Wontons are just simply noodles. I should have ordered soup with that. I have to say they were fresh and not stale.
Noodle, I will be back for more next time as a sit down in restaurant...
Read moreWe got a few things here. The appetizers we got were steamed dumplings (not bad, but not good), fried calamari with plum sauce (cooked exceptionally well, but the sauce was just sweet thai chili or something adjacent you couldnât tell it was plum sauce), and the sesame chicken wings (idk if this was homemade sauce either it also tasted like sweet thai chili sauce). The entrees we ordered were crunch beef and crunch fish (once again cooked well but just drenched with sauce and this is the same sweet thai chili sauce) and the best dish out of what we ordered was the Singapore noodles (which was under the dry section but still for some reason wet). Parking is kind of bad, you have the parking in front of the establishment, across the street, or you have to find street parking somewhere. Itâs a minor inconvenience. Service was also kinda bad. They took our order, came once for water during our time there which was like ~90 minutes. Usually iâm okay with minimal service, but this was kind of egregious especially that we had to initiate to get the check. The place has vibes, but personally I just wouldnât go again. I would suggest less sauce for sure when ordering or at least sauce...
